And I still don’t remember.
Think about it, realistically, you'd have to be 38 years old to remember the last time the #Reds won a playoff series. A series.

One newcomer who continues to impress is Ryle High School alum Dylan McIntyre. "Dylan McIntyre has awesome stuff," UK coach Nick Mingione said. "He's gonna play a big time role for us." Four strikeouts from McIntyre today with a fastball that was up to 96. batcatscentral.com/observati…

Remember that you are necessary. You were made for so much more than you think.
Take on the mind of God, embrace His heart & fill the world around you with love & light.

Barry Larkin following today’s #Reds loss: “I think these last three weeks of baseball playing against some of the better teams that are going to be going to the postseason really illustrates how far we are behind at this big league level. And change has to happen. This city deserves better than that, and I know every player down there feels that. But something has to give. We have to get better because we are so, so far behind.”
One of my favorite classes in high school!
Twenty-five years after 9/11, I remember those we lost, the courage of first responders, and families forever changed. The attacks inspired my research on terrorism & national security, including two chapters recognized by West Point’s Combating Terrorism Center. #NeverForget

🚨#BREAKING: A German soccer fan who flew to the USA but was fearful about coming because of news about criminals and people being mean...
...breaks down into TEARS, live on air saying he has FALLEN IN LOVE with America after a random man named "Bob" in Boston gave him a ride home after he was stuck at a game with no way back to his hotel
The German soccer fan's name is Sebastian, he said after meeting Bob, he extended his entire trip.
He said leaving America will hurt worse than watching Germany get knocked out of the World Cup.
"I fall in love with America. I'm sorry, it's just so emotional. Americans are not rude... if we are together, we can achieve great things."

“And what about our sins? Slavery was the original sin, and I won’t sand it down. The founders knew it. Jefferson knew it, and he owned slaves — the hypocrisy was staring right at them, and they kept kicking the can down the road. But here is what a poisoned telling of our history leaves out: the New England colonies began rejecting slavery before England itself did. And when the reckoning finally came, hundreds of thousands of men died on battlefields to make other men free. “As He died to make men holy, let us die to make men free,” read the original lyrics of the Battle Hymn of the Republic. That’s propitiation. One man suffers so others go free. A nation that will bleed that much to right its own wrong is not an evil nation. It is a great one, straining toward becoming a more perfect one. We had a black president. We had a black vice president. Our Secretary of State is the son of Cuban refugees. Anyone telling you the story that nothing here ever gets better is selling you something.”
