Trojans tied the game early on and then @mhankins09 produced a game-changing pick-six to give the visitors the lead.
But @jaylynt13 & Co. responded quickly with a TD of their own as the intensity builds.

Some late heroics from @jaylynt13 and a game-sealing INT from @noah_stone8277 won this one for the Toros.
Second half was back-and-forth throughout, a fitting start to this HSFB season.

And for head coach Chase Smith, it was all about the fight his young team showed. @chasesmith2717
A rivalry win. A statement to start the season. And a night to remember at The Hill.

Man, that Spanish Fort & Daphne game last night was NUTS.
Shoutout @jaylynt13 as he put his team on his BACK in the 4th Quarter.
We’ll see how Daphne bounces back next week, and if Spanish Fort can keep it going against Foley, but the Toros are a BIG threat in 5A.
Thank you @CoachDornHC and @HawksFootball. I look forward to continuing our conversation and I can't wait to get back for a game this fall.
