Lodash gets 100M+ downloads a day.
For years, it was primarily maintained by one person: @jdalton
Then life happened. He stepped back.
Now Lodash is entering a new phase with shared governance and support from the OpenJS Foundation.
Big reminder: Open source isn’t just code. It’s people.

What's in your slot?
Some people don't even notice they have an SD card slot on the MacBook Pro. Most never use it .
How do you know when your Agent is done or needs your input?
This is a render in Blender, but the real one link in the reply

We built tar-codec: a fast and secure tar parser for the Rust ecosystem.
It's roughly twice as fast as our previous tar implementation, but with much lower exposure to parser differentials and other security risks.
Here's the state machine btw.

I've been doing some optimization to make fframes project spend less time on recompilation. In the next 1.3.1 recompilation time will go from 4 seconds to 0.69 seconds for trivial changes
But we now also support blaze which brings compilation down to 69ms for the same change!
if you have bazel installed fframes skill will automatically use it

Oh boy! This sounds awesome! (Haven’t tried it yet.) Rust is the best programming language for AIs because of the safety orientation and tooling, but the long compile times are a big limitation. This appears set to eliminate that friction!

Lowered a limit in the schema, forgot to rebuild. Every test still passed. ata verify did not.
npx ata-validator verify 'schemas/*.schema.json'
It’s Mr 📦, and I helped 🥰
mr-boxington 1.28 supports blaze! (formerly ra-jit) now you can have warm worktrees, automatic target/ cleanup, and incredibly fast rebuilds. 🔥
Just set MBX_BLAZE=1 and see build times like 2150ms → 116ms.

css tip 📍 - the same :𝚝𝚊𝚛𝚐𝚎𝚝-𝚌𝚞𝚛𝚛𝚎𝚗𝚝 gives you a scrollspy with no js.
.𝚝𝚘𝚌 {
𝚜𝚌𝚛𝚘𝚕𝚕-𝚝𝚊𝚛𝚐𝚎𝚝-𝚐𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚙: 𝚊𝚞𝚝𝚘;
}
.𝚝𝚘𝚌 𝚊:𝚝𝚊𝚛𝚐𝚎𝚝-𝚌𝚞𝚛𝚛𝚎𝚗𝚝 {
𝚋𝚊𝚌𝚔𝚐𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚍: 𝚋𝚕𝚊𝚌𝚔;
𝚌𝚘𝚕𝚘𝚛: 𝚠𝚑𝚒𝚝𝚎;
}
each <𝚊 𝚑𝚛𝚎𝚏="#𝚒𝚍"> in .𝚝𝚘𝚌 tracks its section. the link for the section in view matches :𝚝𝚊𝚛𝚐𝚎𝚝-𝚌𝚞𝚛𝚛𝚎𝚗𝚝 and follows as you scroll.
css tip 🪟 - carousel tabs with no js.
one line turns a scroll-snap carousel into a real tab list:
.𝚌𝚊𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚜𝚎𝚕 {
𝚜𝚌𝚛𝚘𝚕𝚕-𝚖𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚎𝚛-𝚐𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚙: 𝚋𝚎𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚎 𝚝𝚊𝚋𝚜;
}
.𝚌𝚊𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚜𝚎𝚕::𝚜𝚌𝚛𝚘𝚕𝚕-𝚖𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚎𝚛-𝚐𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚙 {
𝚍𝚒𝚜𝚙𝚕𝚊𝚢: 𝚏𝚕𝚎𝚡; 𝚐𝚊𝚙: 𝟾𝚙𝚡; 𝚑𝚎𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝: 𝟺𝟾𝚙𝚡;
}
.𝚌𝚊𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚜𝚎𝚕 > 𝚕𝚒::𝚜𝚌𝚛𝚘𝚕𝚕-𝚖𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚎𝚛 {
𝚌𝚘𝚗𝚝𝚎𝚗𝚝: 𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚛(𝚍𝚊𝚝𝚊-𝚝𝚊𝚋);
}
.𝚌𝚊𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚜𝚎𝚕 > 𝚕𝚒::𝚜𝚌𝚛𝚘𝚕𝚕-𝚖𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚎𝚛:𝚝𝚊𝚛𝚐𝚎𝚝-𝚌𝚞𝚛𝚛𝚎𝚗𝚝 {
𝚋𝚊𝚌𝚔𝚐𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚍: 𝚋𝚕𝚊𝚌𝚔; 𝚌𝚘𝚕𝚘𝚛: 𝚠𝚑𝚒𝚝𝚎;
