There is a void of any real leadership on the Dallas Cowboys. The owner doesn't provide it or the head coach or any of the players. That's why we keep getting these historically bad performances out this team year after year.

Statement from Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles on the approval of parole for former Dallas Police Officer Amber Guyger who was convicted of murder in the death of Botham Jean. Amber Guyger initially became eligible for parole on September 29, 2024.  Her initial review occurred on October 10, 2024, and resulted in a parole denial with her next review being scheduled on/about October 2026.    After a thorough review and consideration of a plethora of information, the parole panel voted to approve Amber Guyger for parole on October 1, 2026.   The reasons provided for approval were:   •The record does not include a documented pattern of violent or assaultive arrests/convictions. •The record indicates that the offender has maintained a satisfactory institutional adjustment. •The record indicates participation in and completion of programs and activities in the individual treatment plan that should enhance chances to obtain and maintain full-time stable employment.   Timothy McDonnell Chief Operating Officer Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles

Breaking indictment related to Karmelo Anthony/Austin Metcalf case. A Kansas woman has been arrested and faces federal charges for allegedly threatening to kill the father of Austin Metcalf. We've already seen Collin County authorities charge someone for threatening to kill Karmelo Anthony.  That being right wing activist Jake Lang.  Now the feds have charged a woman who they say threatened to kill Jeff Metcalf, who is the father of Austin Metcalf.  According to the indictment, Sharifa Nicole Henderson "...sent a message on Facebook Messenger to a crime victim's family member, known to the Grand Jury, and stated she would kill the family member, put them in a body bag, and stated, "now this is a threat take me to court [expletive]." That was in June around the time the trial ended.  After that, another message to Jeff Metcalf allegedly from Henderson and sent the next day stated that "...she would "demolish" the family, and "strangle" a family member." That family member again being Jeff Metcalf.  The third threat that led to this 3 count indictment involved another message which stated "don't worry I'll kill you next," and "I will hunt you forever until I kill you ... I will be there. You will always have to look over your [expletive] shoulder." A grand jury indicted Henderson who has already appeared in court.  She faces up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 if convicted.
