1/ AI is helping teams write code faster.
⚠️ But that might become dangerous, because not all aspects of software engineering accelerate at the same rate.
4/ That uneven acceleration is where the trap begins.
The code may be ready in minutes, but someone still has to ask:
Should this exist?
Can we maintain it?
Can we explain it later?
5/ The uncomfortable question is not:
“Can AI write software?”
It can.
The uncomfortable question is:
“What happens when we generate software faster than we can understand it?”
