{shinysurveys} is a minimalist package for people who want to easily collect and analyze survey data in R. To use it, you simply supply a data frame of questions, a title and description (both optional), and voila!

#rstats with {ask} you can now change your code in place using natural language, create some scripts, documentation, README, tests... Also ask for tibbles with ask_tibble(), or for a command pasted to the terminal with ask_terminal()... github.com/moodymudskipper/a…

📣Our 🆕 paper Causal Inference is Not Just a Statistics Problem is out! @malco_barrett, @travisgerke, and I show that you can have 4 data sets with identical summary stats & visuals but very different data generating mechanisms-statistics alone can't tell you what to adjust for!

My first #JuliaLang blog post - a review of DataFrames.jl from a {dplyr} and {data.table} perspective! TL;DR - different enough to be interesting but not too different that it's painful. Great R-to-Julia entry point if you're also Julia-curious! yjunechoe.github.io/posts/20…

The {shinyuieditor} now has a visual template chooser for when you're starting a brand-new app! This mode shows previews of the available starter templates, lets you filter by layout type, and lets you choose single or multi-file output. #rstats #shiny (1/4)

I had the privilege to chat about two of my favorite topics, #rstats and Observable, with @sharon000 and @mbostock !! If JS + R is your jam check it out! 👇
If you want to quickly code an interactive report or analysis and email it to colleagues or host it on an intranet, integrating @rstudio or @ThePSF and Observable @JavaScript in @quarto_pub could be a great choice. Learn more: infoworld.com/article/367478…

I think the second one is more up-to-date (at least it has (@skyetetra's updated how-to for sending emails with gmail🙌🏼) but I'm not sure. Happy to file a GitHub issue if that would be helpful! Also, thanks for a great package!🙏🏼

HEY! So this is {gt}, coming to you from a new Twitter account. Much has been going on but, lately, v0.7 has been released. What a great release! Lots of new features and fixes (take a look at github.com/rstudio/gt/releas… for a summary). Here’s a mini-thread for 5 new things.
