We just finished witnessing the type of impact Blake Coleman had and his importance at age 30, 31, 32, 33, 34. Joel Farabee won’t turn 30 until February of Calgary’s third season in Scotia Place. He absolutely can be part of the club’s rebuilt future — and I’d argue he should be.

America sleepwalking to their end
Trump’s own appointees asked the government’s election security agency to secretly hack a voting machine and send the results to the White House. The career staff refused.
ProPublica broke this story. Early in this term, political appointees at Homeland Security went to CISA with a request. Buy a voting machine in secret. Break into it. Don’t tell the company that makes it what you find. Report back so it can go to the White House. That’s the opposite of how CISA works. When it finds a weakness, the whole point is to get it patched.
One former official said the plan looked like something they could keep in their back pocket to invalidate any election results they don’t like. The staff kept telling the appointees it couldn’t be done. Part of the reason? DOGE had already laid off the specialists who could pull it off.
This is the agency Trump created. In 2020 it called that election the most secure in American history, and Trump fired the director for saying so. Since then a third of its workforce is gone, states say they’ll never share information with it again, and its election security plan came out at thirteen pages after early voting had already started.
So the agency built to protect the vote has been gutted, and the people who gutted it asked what was left to hack a voting machine. I break it all down in today’s show (link in reply).

I thought Mark Carney would make a great PM for this moment because he is a brilliant economist. What has been a very pleasant surprise is that as PM he is also an extraordinarily pragmatic visionary! He is the leader we need. Our job is to unite behind him and his government.

Omg you guys, it's true. Ilhan Omar came here on a student visa, then quit school and just started working. Total immigration fraud, blatant.
Oh wait, that wasn't Ilhan, that was Elon.

Becoming the 51st state means giving up Canadian sovereignty and universal healthcare just to inherit $40 trillion in US national debt and a $2,500 ambulance bill.
No thanks.

Well-known Ukrainian military aerial reconnaissance specialist Oleksandr "Serg Marco" Karpiuk writes on Facebook:
"...Starlink is a civilian communications system. And SpaceX is responsible for its civilian use. Standard Starlink terminals currently have a default speed limit of 22 m/s.
To enable flight at speeds above 22 m/s, Ukraine signed contracts for Starshield, which is overseen by the Pentagon. This is already a military system, with Starlink terminals that offer greater functionality, although the accounts are considerably more expensive.
And it was the Pentagon that did two things in a single day: restricted intelligence sharing and changed the parameters of Starshield accounts.
This was a decision by the head of the Pentagon, Pete Hegseth. Clearly on Trump's orders...."
Maybe this is the key to understanding what exactly happened.
