All Fire Fighters across Canada deserve to be treated equal. Occupational disease is real and doesn’t recognize borders. @iaffcanada @iaffnewsdesk @ApmPompiersMtl
Bill 59 will only recognize 9 illnesses among firefighters. Ontario recognizes 19. We are not second-class firefighters. Please retweet if you support your firefighters.

You want the the right amount of FIre Fighters when you call 911.
Ask your local Fire Chief and City Council how many are sent in your community? Does your community follow @NFPA 1710?
@opffa @IAFFCanada #publicsafety
Have you ever wondered there are so many fire fighters on a fire scene?
It’s because there is a lot that needs to be done.
It’s time to put the fire truck and fire fighters back at station 1. Let’s put #publicsafety first.

I just heard the Premier say that the Mayor's of York Region were all in agreement to moving to modified stage 2. That is incorrect! I voiced my concerns that I was not in favour of this decision..

.@opffa response to the @ONFireMarshal #communique on an arbitrators ruling. A good reason why the #FireMarshall should refrain from being politicized and stay in their own lane if firefighter and public safety is not top of their mandate. We await the retraction.

I believe that municipal councils have a responsibility to ensure the safety of residents.
A properly resourced and staffed fire dept. does that.
A fire dept. that puts @NFPA 1710 at the forefront of decision making process, puts #publicsafety first.
@opffa @iaffcanada
NFPA 1710 explainer video part one.
Should @OshawaFire follow @NFPA 1710?
Do residents in @oshawacity deserve a fire service that meets or exceeds industry standards?
Tell the Oshawa Fire Chief and #Oshawa City Council to follow NFPA 1710.
