Y’all just don’t like IVE’s music, and that’s fine, but how about you accept that and move on instead of making your personal tastes their problem
i don’t understand how starship nails it pretty well with kiiikiii’s music but ive is just so.. uninspired

Unchild doesn’t need your shady compliments tearing down another group. Rescene charts because Rescene makes good music and Unchild will have their time to shine too. Just because your parents don’t love you doesn’t mean you can be a loser freak on Twitter
ns but i really dont understand how rescene ended up charting in korea... they literally sound like every other new gg that releases ordinary 5th gen slop that we've already heard before. can koreans give their hype to unchild or izna please???

Wasn’t going to insult OP but his whole account is being a nasty, fugly man with “shady af comebacks” attacking women so actually he can choke

Sorry but using the idea of having alter egos to explore different versions of yourself that you present (or don’t present) to people, and tying it to a comic influenced concept, is really cool and if y’all weren’t such cringe culture-pilled losers then maybe you’d appreciate it.
Imagine pushing 40 & still acting like a wattpad emo protagonist, some people really never grow out of it 😭

She created songs that represented different versions of herself and then created an “alter ego” to go with the song. It was a project exploring many sides of Lisa and all the concepts she is capable of. Lyrics were clunky at times but it was an overall good debut project for her

dismissing kpop as an inferior art form just because most idols don't produce their own music completely misses what art actually is. kpop is a modern total artwork that synthesizes music, dance, visual arts, fashion, and performance. is it commercial and manufactured? yes. but commercialization and artistic value have never been mutually exclusive. looking at art history, many of humanity’s greatest achievements emerged from strict commercial or institutional frameworks. classical music heavily depended on wealthy patrons and the church. renaissance masters painted masterpieces commissioned by powerful clients with rigid demands. being funded and directed by a system doesn't erase the art

Don’t even remind because wdym they had THIS as a b-side, sounds amazing and has literally the perfect lyrics for a debut song, and Wakeone/TBL went with Teddy’s generic bullshit instead
just remembered how bad this debut was omg

Timebomb is the debut hit that got away. They would be in a completely different place right now if they hadn’t debuted with Izna, I would put money on it

What people need to understand is that Kpop is performance art and idols are performers, and performers are not lesser artist. Kpop has never tried to sell you songwriting as the art the way Olivia Rodrigo does. They are selling you collaborative performance art like on Broadway.
i dont understand how can someone see this and think of kpop as an inferior art form than other music genres

Do not “whataboutism” me with the fraction of idols who are involved in their music. I shouldn’t have to list every idol who is an exception to the generalization for y’all to understand my overall point Anyway, Unchild is coming back on Nov. 5 so tune in

I don’t think the series that describes the fictional R4pe of Nanking in graphic detail is YA (target audience ages 12-18), regardless of the main character’s age in the beginning of the series actually
Red Rising is YA Mistborn is YA Poppy War is YA Scholomance is YA Every book where all the main characters are teenagers is YA Hope this helps

And by this logic then A Song of Ice and Fire is YA because Jon Snow is 14, Dany is 13, Sansa is 11, Robb is 16, Bran is 7 like do you see how character age isn’t the deciding factor?
