This was fun to write. I hope it helps people to understand Anglicanism.
"Anglican History" a New Article for @Logos
"It is a tradition tracing its lineage to the Church of England—although many Anglican churches today are either in broken communion with the mother church or in no communion at all."

If your idea of female success amounts to women taking on make roles and imitating male traits, your “feminism” is just a form of male chauvinism.

It's actually technically canonical, but underappreciated: Harry is a baptized Christian (Anglican, specifically). His parents designated a Godfather/sponsor, and they are buried at the parish church with Bible verses on their tombstone.
Traditionalist here! After having watched ACNA data for close to a decade, we're actually doing better than we ever have.
You gotta appreciate a guy owning his Ls like this in public

Some thoughts on the data 🧵:
1. Most of the ex-TEC dioceses have stabilized and are growing again. There was a while where it seemed like Pitt, Ft. Worth, etc. were going to keep declining. The TEC curse is broken, with South Carolina being the big exception

Youth group is gonna hit harder than usual this week with the Kid Rock / Eminem track blaring in the parking lot.
It’s very important that a true Christian intellectual a) permits himself to understand and even find points of agreement with adversarial thinkers, without believing he has to adopt their entire system to do so, and b) realize that many smart people throughout history understood this too (so read them accordingly).
Otherwise, you’re trapped in a “conspiracy brain” loop, where everything outside of perfect alignment is held suspect and treated as part of some big, overriding, ideological meta-narrative (which is only *sometimes* the case).

"Notably, Burgess’s historiography is not secular, meaning that he does not dismiss professed religious belief as a smokescreen for the “real” driving forces of history, i.e., material concerns."
—James Clark
“Perhaps one of the more interesting facts laid out by Burgess is the continued presence of resistance theory in Anglican thought (not just British thought) over time.”

"[T]his whosoever denieth is not to be counted for a true Christian man, nor for a setter forth of Christ’s glory, but for an adversary of Christ and his Gospel, and for a setter forth of men’s vainglory."
