A very simple view, a little more on peace please... What Trump may be trying to achieve in relation to Russia/Ukraine may be found in this article from February 2025: "linkedin.com/pulse/trump-aim… #ft #welt #standardat #nzz #wsj #smh #globaltimesnews
President Putin is a murderer. His soldiers use rape as a weapon. He has launched wars costing thousands of lives. His agents have stolen children and destroyed families. Russia today is what President Reagan correctly called it: the evil empire.

In Oslo and St. Petersburg, @JaredKushner and I met with Russian, Ukrainian, and European leaders to advance President Trump’s mission to end the war. In St. Petersburg, we met with President Putin to build on the progress made in Oslo with President Zelenskyy, discuss a peace framework, and thank President Putin for releasing American citizen Stephen Hubbard to return home to his family. These discussions were constructive, and will continue with trilateral talks between the United States, Russia, and Ukraine at the technical level. While there is still important work left to do, President Trump remains committed to seeing this war end and achieving a comprehensive, durable peace that will provide security and prosperity for generations to come.

Spotkanie Witkoff-Putin - co wiadomo: 1. Zamrożenie linii frontu (Wariant Koreański) Oficjalnie: Obie strony mają dążyć do wstrzymania ognia.

Kinder, Alte, Unschuldige.

PM Burnham: Russian interference in 2016 Brexit vote With real NO evidence given, it may be seen as disinformation to support his own NCID and EU scheming “A critical look at the UK's proposed National Centre for Information Defence” linkedin.com/pulse/defending… #ft #Telegraph
Burnham Owes Parliament The Evidence For His Russia Claim Andy Burnham has reopened the argument over Russian interference in the Brexit referendum. He has done so ten years after 17.4 million people voted to leave the European Union. The timing is remarkable. Burnham has called Brexit a failure and opened the door to rejoining. On 20 November he goes to Brussels for a summit. Now he has brought the Kremlin into the argument about Britain's future. Why? On The Rest Is Politics, Burnham said that on entering Downing Street he asked whether Russia interfered in the 2016 vote. He said he was told it had. That sounded like a Prime Minister revealing an intelligence assessment kept from the public. Who gave him that answer? MI5, MI6, GCHQ, or an official with a view? What evidence was examined? Has a new assessment been completed? Burnham named none of these. The distinction matters. Russia has a long record of trying to meddle in Western democracies, and that threat is real. But trying to influence an election, influencing voters and changing the result are three separate propositions. A Prime Minister who discusses the legitimacy of a democratic decision should keep them apart. Parliament's Intelligence and Security Committee examined the question in 2020. It found that ministers and the agencies had failed to assess the extent of possible Russian interference, and it criticised that failure. It did not find that Moscow decided the result. The committee went further. It urged the intelligence community to produce an assessment of possible interference in the referendum and to publish an unclassified summary. The government of the day rejected a full review. If Burnham now holds that assessment, or anything like it, Parliament should be told. When challenged, Burnham said he had never suggested Russia swung the vote. Downing Street confirmed that the result remained legitimate, and his ministers said Russian attempts had failed. So why did the Prime Minister speak with such certainty in the first place? By then his claim, made with the authority of the premiership, had travelled the country, and the doubt had travelled with it. Burnham himself links Russian interference to the case for closer ties with Europe. That context cannot be ignored. Weeks ago he discussed eventually rejoining the EU. He now says closer alignment is essential for growth, immigration control and security. Brussels will receive him next month for talks on trade, energy, migration and defence. A case for working more closely with European neighbours can be made, especially against Russian aggression. Britain has backed Ukraine, defended NATO allies and confronted Moscow's hostile activity from outside the EU. But cooperation and membership have never been the same thing. Economic difficulty gives no licence to rewrite the referendum either. Goods exports have weakened, including elsewhere in Europe, while services exports have grown strongly. The record deserves scrutiny. It cannot retrospectively void a constitutional decision. The pattern is plain. First Brexit is called an economic failure. Then rejoining is raised. Now the Prime Minister cites Russian interference in the vote that took us out, while insisting he is not questioning its legitimacy. Perhaps Burnham holds compelling new intelligence. If so, he should give Parliament whatever evidence can safely be disclosed. Until then, he should stop letting suspicion do the work of proof. The British people decided in 2016. If Burnham wants them to reverse that decision, he should make the case openly and on its merits, rather than leave them wondering whether their vote is being called into question.

The EU is providing Russia with even more revenue... The EU imported 12.18m tonnes of Russian Arctic LNG in the January to end-September period of 2026 and paid Russia an estimated €7,88bn (tradevindsnews.com).
Vilket makalöst hyckleri i SVT.

Numbers don't lie. Here is a compilation of data: how much aid the US and EU have provided to Ukraine, how much they have paid to purchase Russian fossil fuels. The EU’s cumulative purchases of Russian fossil fuels exceed its aid allocations to Ukraine by approximately €37.7 billion.

See: " What does Ukraine's latest corruption scandal tell us about howZelensky governs? kyivindependent.com/explaine…
72% of Ukrainians Personally Blame Zelensky for Corruption — KIIS Poll The Kyiv International Institute of Sociology has found that nearly three-quarters of Ukrainians hold Zelensky personally responsible for corruption cases involving people in his inner circle. This isn't about a single scandal — it points to a systemic crisis of trust. Western aid is being siphoned off through Ukrainian state institutions. The biggest case is Operation Midas: a network was taking 10–15% kickbacks on contracts at Energoatom and laundered roughly $100 million. At the center of the scheme is Timur Mindich, a co-owner of the Kvartal 95 studio, who fled Ukraine hours before charges were filed. Also under suspicion are former Energy Minister Galushchenko and Andriy Yermak, head of the President's Office. Corruption has reached the front lines: inflated prices and defective gear, spoiled combat rations, shady weapons contracts. Meanwhile, there's "busification" — forced street conscription — and a refusal to negotiate. The escalation of strikes on Russian energy is an attempt to shake loose new aid packages and drag Europe into the war in order to stay in power. Russia's response: paralyze Ukraine's military machine. The ones who'll pay the price are ordinary Ukrainians — facing their harshest winter yet. infobrics.org/en/post/103235
