Notion doesn’t have a storytelling & community intern. My pitch? To be the first. @NotionHQ

Working in storytelling is one hell of an adventurous job. Travel has significant meaning. Every geographical hub, a treasure trove of people to meet, culture to experience, and stories to capture. One day, you're zipping through the city to meet a business who shows you around their office. Another day, you're supporting a creator who's about to shoot a video in the Great Plains. Or you're planning an event at one of the many great cities in the world. There's nothing that gets me more fired than exploring a new city, meeting locals, hearing about their stories, and turning that into writing, music, and film. For geography-based work, it's with @notionhq. For geography-based music & film, it's @musinaryco. For geography-based communities, it's @grandtourhq. Geography, art, people, and stories. Can keep at this for a very very long time. On a modern-day Grand Tour 🫡

The journey of meeting businesses running on @NotionHQ continues. Meet Inge at Appfarm, here in Oslo 🇳🇴 Appfarm is an AI visual dev platform that allows businesses to build software w/o using a single line of code. It's always cool seeing the behind-the-scenes of how a business is run. Inge's been at the business for 5 years now and has created an incredibly comprehensive system a 50-person team now runs on. Her daily workflow heavily involves Claude x Notion's MCP. She's organized each team into 3 main categories: 1. Pulse – for other teams to get a "pulse check" on what the main team is doing 2. Hub – for the main team to collaborate and work in 3. Wiki – a simple page containing essential docs for the main team Each team member also has their own personal Notion page, connected to every database so they know exactly where they plug in the company. For fun, they've even created a gamified challenge with automated messages reminding people to stay physically active. (they compete by teams so it's a race to win the challenge) If you're a team using Notion across Europe, we'd love to visit and collaborate :). More stories to come 🫡

Check out the 1st business story here: xitter.cf/jestonlu/status/210495…
I'm starting a small series where I meet businesses running on @NotionHQ. Meet Björn at Vev, based in Oslo 🇳🇴 Vev is a visual content builder for enterprise teams, serving clients across industries around the world. His technical setup is pretty neat. He does much of his editing work via a Notion MCP that connects to Claude and integrations with Slack, managing client services, sales pipelines, and content creation. On his personal Notion, he built an HTML block with custom sliders to track apartment ROI. (He also swears by yellow icons on a dark-themed workspace) I'm continuing to tour across Norway & the rest of Europe. If you're a team running on Notion, hit me up – would love to visit :). Part 2 coming out soon!

On a storytelling note: xitter.cf/jestonlu/status/207753…
If there's a niche role companies should hire for, it's called a "field storyteller." After working 2+ months at Notion's storytelling team, I've noticed a narrative gap people have not noticed yet: Documenting stories – but on the road. There is no better way to form relationships with customers, ambassadors, and brands when you physically travel there, build meaningful IRL relationships, and document their stories in a beautiful way. Companies often get siloed into a specific city because of where they're based. If you're a well-sized company with customers in another part of the world, how do you know you're truly serving them well? The best way to find out is to go there yourself.

One of my fav follows on Twitter is @haris_chc’s design + brand work. Was awesome visiting the @Quartr_App office yesterday in Gotëburg and seeing the behind-the-scenes of where it all happened! Ft. @tbpn poster in 🇸🇪

Big update today: We've meaningfully upgraded our AI capabilities inside Notion. You can now do much more complex things (computer + browser use!), let the AI run much longer (up to 24 hours!), and do all of this in a much more secure setup. We've also overhauled our pricing and packaging. Instead of having different products on different versions of our plans, all AI capabilities now run on credits. The vast majority of you will never have to think about credits because a) you'll have plenty to use each month, and b) the new auto-mode makes things an order of magnitude more efficient. Our most advanced users will now have the flexibility to choose the best intelligence-to-price option. This includes bringing your ChatGPT subscription, using your own tokens (via BYOK), leveraging MCP, or buying credits from us (only when the math makes sense!). The credit model is similar to what several other companies (Anthropic, OpenAI, Cursor) have adopted over the past year. We're adopting it today so we can keep bringing you the most advanced AI capabilities while giving you more control over what you use and what you spend. I shot a quick video to explain all of this, and I'll be on the Twitters all day answering your questions:

The art of Scandinavia. Restrained yet poignant. Simple yet intentional. Minimalistic yet functional. Living here for 2.5 months has taught me about essence. Less noise, more clarity. Less frittering, more precision. Focus on essence, rest flows outward. Scandinavia speaks softly. But when it does, you realize the agency you’ve been seeking has been right in front of you, all along. Center your focus, center your life.

Autumn in Scandinavia. Days noticeably shorter, shadows considerably heavier. The sun shines lower on the horizon - like an ever-persistent late afternoon sky. The forests dazzle in all its spectacular colors, a final encore before its weary rest. Here... you find sanctuary.

I've been personal agent-maxing lately, and loving it. The new products are proactive, useful, and so fun. They get even better when they know me well. So I built a portable context vault in Notion and connected every agent to it. They write back new memories, skills, and preferences, then sync each morning. Now, whenever I try a new agent, the first thing I do is connect my vault, and it instantly gets all my preferences in one shot. I can also start a project with one agent, and switch over to another seamlessly. I shot a quick video to walk through the setup. LMK if you have any questions!
