She was right though. In ME1 she asked if it was okay to let Tali poke around the Normandy’s systems and in ME3 *somehow* the Quarians have a ship with a tantalus drive. She says when their backs are to the walls the aliens will abandon us & Asari did just that when Thessia fell.

Data centers are so fascinating because usually NIMBYs and the ruling class have the same goals but with data centers they don't. It just shows how easily NIMBYs can get bulldozed if it's for something the wealthy actually want.

I saw a story on the news last night about an elementary school completely surrounded by 11 data centers that played like a fucking onion video I lost it when it was revealed that they’re planning to build 2 more 😭😭😭

The cinematic where Sovereign enters the Citadel to dock with it shows scale. The way they did it really showed just how big the Citadel was to a Reaper. The composition of a long-distance shot to the size of the Reaper looked amazing.

Genuinely one of my dream game(s) is a totally remake of the trilogy the irons out the kinks and makes them more cohesive. There are so many tweaks I'd personally want to make with hindsight.

You would have to unmake ME2 and 3 and rebuild them as ME1 sequels or DLC in order to fix things. Mass Effect 2 broke things at a fundamental level in ways that can't be trivially unbroken or modded out

yeah my mass effect hot take is that 2 is the weakest entry of the original trilogy. it completely abondons the rpg elements of the first game while the combat is rudimentary compared to the third, the pacing is absolutely whack and the plot could’ve been a dlc for the first game
