That would be dumb. But the @Lions should simply negotiate in good faith and offer what they think is right for the team’s future. They shouldn’t pay more to someone for not complaining, and they shouldn’t pay less because he did. 3/4
If the player’s being disruptive in the locker room & actively seeking to cause distractions, that makes him less valuable. There’s currently no indication that’s the case. He’s 25 and frustrated. @Lions shouldn’t stand on principles that don’t actually advance their cause 4/4
