🔋 Newer devices last 2–4 years longer.
📉 Each additional lead = 2–3 yrs less battery life.
📈 Key drivers: manufacturer, pulse width, output.

Excited to publish our study on ICD battery longevity in @hrs_journal. Each additional lead costs 2-3 years of longevity, newer devices have an additional 2-4 years of longevity for all manufacturers. And yes- there are real differences by manufacturer!
