Hi everyone - as some of you know, I have been quietly working on obtaining my driver’s license for harness racing. I have completed 8 qualifying drives so far, and have accumulated 40 of the required 50 points. I could potentially reach this goal in as little as two more qualifiers.
I want to say a huge thank you to Jason Libby (@jlibby1969), Lorne House (@HouseLorne) , and Lindsey Kerr (@ClayFace1) for giving me the opportunity to get this far in the process. And of course the support and mentorship of my dad Daniel Clements (@DanielWClements).
I was born into a love for this sport, and have always been involved in some way or another. When the sport is in your blood, it just keeps pulling you in. I always had a desire to get my driver's license, but it was something I kept putting off. The passion for driving has really grown over this short time since I started doing my qualifiers. My first drive I will admit I was more nervous than excited for, but with each race I'm finding myself getting more comfortable, and really starting to have fun out there now.
If anyone needs a driver for qualifiers at Western Fair, Hiawatha, or Clinton, please consider reaching out. I’m looking forward to participating and gaining more experience - and I'd greatly appreciate any opportunities!

Neon lights race 7 #1 in tough but he always tries and with post 1 he should trip out. Race needs to go his speed to be a factor. Having a 59 trotter is not a bad thing. @RobertReidJr @WFRRacing @NBainracing @SugarDoyle
Dreamfair sunshine race 6 #3 @WFRRacing tried grassroots last time raced well. Recovered from that race in good order. With T Borth an 3 hole should get a spot up near front and hopefully battle to wire. @SugarDoyle @RobertReidJr @NBainracing
Santa Monica @HiawathaHP race 8 #2. Same class same driver. Some new horses in her class this week. @DanielWClements should be able to workout a nice trip like last week and hope she can finish strong. @RobertReidJr @gocashking
