I think we possibly have a 73% chance of dying out of frustration from doomsday AI posts. 60% of the time my research is correct 100% of the time. Those are statistics we simply can’t ignore. Time is not on our side.
I resigned from Bitcoin today. I spent the last nine years researching monetary policy and network effects. Bitcoin is not acting responsibly. It is racing straight toward becoming the next global reserve currency and gambling with our easily printed government money. More thoughts below.

What is the most likely end state for the alignment of an AGI that is truly intelligent and capable of changing its own goals?
That quickly led to a second:
Would such an AGI be more likely to develop in a way that maximizes human flourishing, rather than simply maximizing its own reach and power?
