According to the promo video, beginning on that date, the first iWant original series to air on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida (Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and ALLTV2), A2Z Primetime, and TV5 TodoMAX Primetime on November 30, 2026, was Love at First Spike, one of the nominees for the International Emmy Awards 2026, which will take place on November 23, 2026. It is one of the iWant originals directed by Ivan Andrew Payawal (the man behind The Panti Sisters, Gameboys, and more recently, Miss Behave) and originally released on the streaming platform on June 20, 2025, that offered a fresh take on high school life, capturing the firsts that define adolescence: first heartbreak, first win, and first step toward self-discovery, delving deeper into issues of gender norms in sports, social acceptance, and the pressures of being a student-athlete. The series featured three of the Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 ex-housemates, Dylan Yturralde, Rain Celmar, and Binsoy Namoca, playing the roles of Ethan, Olivia, and Rey, respectively, as well as River Joseph, Sky Quizon, Jude Hinumdum, Lance Reblando, Bong Gonzales, Andi Abaya, Adrian Alandy, and Meryll Soriano, to name a few. The series centers on Uno (Emilio Daez), a top basketball varsity captain at Brixton High, whose future is upended after a violent incident during a game gets him removed from the team. Desperate to keep his athletic scholarship, Uno tries out for the only varsity team still open: the school’s struggling boys’ volleyball team, composed entirely of out and proud LGBTQIA+ members. Meanwhile, ABS-CBN also announced that Ghosting, one of the 2025 hit romance-comedy original drama series headlined by JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith and directed by Theodore Boborol, will air soon alongside Nurse The Dead (a 2026 iWant original series). It is known for achieving tens of millions of online video views for its trailer ahead of the series’ release. The series, which premiered on July 19, 2025, follows a feisty student who escapes to her grandmother’s quiet provincial home after being ghosted, only to fall for a mysterious probinsyano who turns out to be a restless soul. What begins as a classic story of moving on transforms into an unforgettable romance that reaches beyond the boundaries of life and death. It also follows the story of Jaja (Fyang), a young woman who flees to the countryside and unexpectedly falls for Wilberto (JM), a charming but mysterious local who harbors a ghostly secret. The series promises a unique mix of romance, youthful heartbreak, and the supernatural across all of the episodes. The series continues with the second part called “Deja-BOO!”, where Jaja (Fyang Smith) finds her heart beating again for Macmac (JM Ibarra), a charming photographer who bears an uncanny resemblance to her ghostly love, Wilberto. The new installment introduces fresh characters who stir Jaja’s love life and add a blend of romance and humor to the story. The first part of Ghosting also features Tayo Hanggang Dulo, one of the iconic theme songs sung by Fyang Smith and JM Ibarra from the Forever Fyang Debut EP, which was released under the StarPop label, produced by its label head, Roque “Rox” Santos, back in 2025 and written by ABS-CBN Music creatives, content, and operations head Jonathan Manalo and Perry Lansigan for the said song. For those who can’t wait for the on-air release of these two 2025 iWant original hits featuring the PBB Gen 11 ex-housemates, they can watch both Love at First Spike and Ghosting Parts 1 and 2 for free on the iWant app and website.
