I released a song! After a lot of very kind feedback on the video I shared on Facebook I figured I should give it a go. I've never released a song as me before, so it would make me feel pretty great if the listen count ticked up into double figures...😊open.spotify.com/album/2SSBH…
Anyone wanna come and work with us? We're trying to transform the song of the church from the ground up by empowering and encouraging grassroots writers, and you could be part of it. (You just need some complicated sounding skills... 😮)

Wrote this on Scilly after hearing Seth Lakeman, played it the next night at Jack’s Bar, went home and recorded it and the video has gone a bit bonkers on Fbook. Final verse nods to the Scillonian—so I thought @IOSTravel might like it. 🎶 "Scilly My Love” facebook.com/655375083/video…

Let's be more constructive. _One_ song from the UK church in the last 5 years (that's not by you 😁) that you think the rest of the UK church would probably love to sing if they knew it. Go.
Is there a single British song from the last 10 years in the recently published CCLI top 100 UK? (there might be, but I'm struggling to find one) Genuine question for British churches and worship leaders: why is it so hard to persuade you to sing new British songs?

We all want figgy pudding, but there are different views. "All figgy pudding is ours now" vs " no true figgy pudding this side of heaven" with "we have some taste of figgy pudding" becoming popular. Those who claim the bread becomes figgy pudding when blessed are simply wacky.
For all the songs I try and write, and albums I try to publish, this is probably the thing I do that will have the most lasting significance. If you know anybody who is writing songs for the church they are so welcome here and may well find it transformative. It is special.
It's back! Come and join an international community of songwriters, working together to grow in their creative gifts and serve the local church. Whether you're a seasoned pro or complete beginner, you'll find a home here. 12songchallenge.org

New song!! From our forthcoming double album 'Downcast Souls / Expectant Hearts'. Written by @philmooremusic & @timchestercouk. How Long? is a beautiful and poignant setting of Psalm 13 which models Biblical lament so clearly. Tracks, charts, scores and video from our website.
