Lafayette Dublin feels in another DMV prospect who will be an immediate impact next season as Texas Southern lands Coffeyville CC Fr. G/W Khalib Norcome.
Brings a college-ready frame at 6โ6โ, toughness + versatility defensively & a connective piece on the offense end.

Coffeyville Basketball got valuable work in at the JUCO GASO event in Mullins, matching up with programs from across the JUCO ranks.
The Red Ravens used the event to test their group, compete against quality opposition and continue preparing for what lies ahead this season.

The Mullen/GASO JUCO Blowout was a huge success, bringing together some of the top junior college programs and talent for a loaded event in Duncanville, Texas!
High-level competition, talented rosters, and plenty of college coaches in attendance made for an incredible showcase of JUCO basketball.
A great opportunity for players to compete, gain exposure, and put their talent on display in front of coaches at the next level!

Coffeyville CC head coach Jay Herkelman expects this yearโs group to bring a different style to the floor โ and the change is intentional.
After featuring more size and strength on the interior in recent seasons, Herkelman believes this Coffeyville team will be built around length, athleticism, speed and versatility.
โWeโre going to be a little more long, athletic, fastโฆ guys that are pretty interchangeable.โ
With multiple players capable of handling the ball and making decisions, along with a group Herkelman expects to shoot it well, the Red Ravens will have plenty of ways to attack.
A different style is coming to Coffeyville this season.

Coffeyville Community College head coach Jay Herkelman has three returners he expects to play significant roles for the Red Ravens this season.
Jack Sorrell returns after earning First Team All-Jayhawk Conference honors as a freshman, bringing versatility, toughness and an unselfish approach to the backcourt.
โThe best thing I love about him is heโs a tough guy. Likes to get out there and do whatever he has to to help us win basketball games.โ
Jeremiah Ibeziako has transformed his body since the spring, adding nearly 20 pounds while maintaining the mobility and athleticism that make the 6โ8โ forward intriguing. Herkelman believes the added strength has also brought another level of confidence to his game.
Tristan Walton rounds out the returning trio after a โtremendous spring and summer,โ with Herkelman expecting the hardworking wing to compete for a starting role and see significantly more time this season.
Three returners. Three bigger opportunities. And plenty of experience for Coffeyville to build around.
