Ken Dryden -- whose passing is incredibly sad for me -- was truly a one of a kind; and then they threw away the mold. His brilliance in goal was matched by his conquest of the writing business and his fervent desire
to make hockey better. Plus, he was just a sweetheart of a guy.
Was saddened to learn Friday of the passing of a friend & @MapleLeafs colleague @KenDryden. Could fill “X” w/ stories about Ken, yet never do justice to describing the man nor his impact on 🇨🇦
Ken championed the @MapleLeafs fan in the Purple seats, citizens who were marginalized, people who deeply loved 🇨🇦 and those who had just arrived. He had a quiet and sharp sense of humour. Everyone who met Ken was better for having done so.

"I'm fully confident as long as Dan Lanning is the coach at Oregon, I don't know if it will be this year or the next year, they will win a national title."
@Jbooty88 on @oregonfootball's ability to reload under Dan Lanning 🗣️
👏 👏 Appreciated working w/ Alex during his @MapleLeafs years & talks about how Russian and American kids were raised learning untruths about each other’s country. Grateful to have learned more about 🇷🇺 from him. Also appreciated his kindness to my son. 🏆
Love this…and that Shai has remained the humble star from #HamOnt that he is. Special player, special person. And a champion. 🏆 🇨🇦 #NBAFinals2025
Thrilled for my last head coach with the @MapleLeafs Paul Maurice to run it back! Love the way his @FlaPanthers play the game.
My home @uoregon shows out for women’s 🏀, this time for @WNBA preseason w/ @nyliberty
Proud to be a 🦆

Loved being in attendance again this year for the @oregonfootball Spring Game! Once a Duck, always a Duck.

You know it had to be a special night for former @OregonFootball DT Derrick Harmon and his mother, Tiffany Saine 🤗
@BTNJourney featured the @steelers' first-round pick's bond with his mother, who suffered a stroke in 2022, late last season.

#FlashbackFriday to Feb. 27, 2000 today on NBA TV Canada when Vince Carter scored 51 to lead @Raptors to 103-102 win vs Phoenix on NBC. Great to be working press row (R) w/ Ahmad Rashad @NBATVAhmad (L), Matt Akler (C), & @davehaggith (lower left). Raps 1st game on national US tv.
Love seeing the GTA’s @GOtransitLW packed with young girls and boys as well as older folks heading to this afternoon’s @thepwhlofficial @PWHL_Toronto game at Coca-Cola Coliseum. People of all ages are being inspired by Toronto’s women’s pro hockey team. 1pm puck drop.
