Really important for us to understand what was going wrong.
Calley Means just went on Joe Rogan and blew up at Susie Wiles for destroying MAHA. “She spent her career taking money from Benjamin Netanyahu.” “The pharmaceutical industry.” “The pesticide industry.” “Trump’s administration has been infiltrated by the very people that he energized voters to say he would get out of DC.” “Susie Wiles is the most powerful chief of staff in modern American history.” “She has a couple of deputies.” “James Blair … long-term political consultant.” “He’s taken a lot of money from … special interests.” “The sugar industry.” “Walker Barrett.” “Susie’s neighbor in Florida.” “Junior guy, but extremely powerful.” “Richard Walters.” “A kind of mid-level fundraiser.” “He came from a lobbying firm … that lobbied for pesticides.” “Lobbied for pharma.” “These are the most powerful people in the country.” “Tony Fabrizio.” “He takes money from Pepsi.” “He takes money from pharmaceutical companies.” “He takes money from almost every single industry we’re fighting against right now to this day.” “Susie’s daughter became a lobbyist.” “The group Susie’s daughter worked for had almost zero in revenue before the Trump administration.” “Shot up to $30-ish million a year in revenue.” “If you’re a special interest and you want to get something done, the secret’s out.” “You pay Susie’s daughter.” “And then Susie worked at a firm called Ballard Partners.” “Ballard Partners has become the highest revenue-generation lobbying firm in history.” “If you hire Ballard, you get a meeting with Susie.” “And you can get things done.” Joe Rogan: “Is this normal?” Means: “This is how it works for 30 years.” @calleymeans @joerogan

Spot on
Everyone wants to weigh in with their Most Astute Take™ on the midterms. But no one wants to even factor in the glaringly obvious: the US has been under the most sustained information attack by foreign states in decades, if not generations. Foreign adversaries have learned to weaponize the very protections and safeguards – First Amendment, Section 230, privacy laws – that make discourse online possible. They use our shield as their weapon. These actors have learned that they don't need to "hack Facebook" — as the press claimed Russia did in 2016. (In fact, that had no measurable impact.) They found that they don't need to infiltrate voting systems. Instead, they have learned to focus on seeding poisonous narratives into virtually every open information system online. It's not only effective, but it's remarkably efficient. The influence happens in various ways: 1. Bot manipulation – Accounts/shows that see enormous engagement surges on particular issues are motivated to double down on the messaging that the bot swarms respond to. 2. Direct incentives – Money and influence. This comes in the form of corporate financing, advertising deals materially larger than their market value. (Did Hasan Piker go to China just for kicks?) 3. Information poisoning – Bringing fringe narratives into the mainstream by seeding them into open, trusted platforms (e.g. Wikipedia). 4. Discourse radicalization – Actors tied to foreign adversarial states pull the discourse further to the fringe. There is no accountability mechanism, so these actors are free to not just say, but endlessly repeat, the most extreme, toxic, and false claims. 5. Network building – As one example: the Singham Network can build, fund, and run ideological networks with alarming success rates. These are broad categories; they break down into thousands of smaller tactics. Further, they innovate. Foreign adversaries have an ability to test and experiment, since state budgets are virtually unlimited relative to the cost. Even more damagingly, there is almost no mainstream journalistic reporting on, or investigation into, malign influence by foreign actors in information spaces. Can we name a single public investigation into information operations by US adversaries like China in recent months? (It's as if, after a decade of "Russia, Russia, Russia," the press simply forgot this is a thing.) Even in the rare cases where we catch and expose these activities, there is almost never consequences: Example 1 - Recall the right-wing influencer taking $10m per year from the Russian government, whose posts seemed design to sowed division? Far from consequences, this individual was entirely let off the hook and even invited back into the country. Example 2 – Al Jazeera's digital network, AJ+, was ordered by DOJ to register as a foreign agent – and simply ignored the order. Were they shut down? Did their operation even slow down? Example 3 – Chinese operatives work in plain site on social platforms, disclosing their affiliations while dragging the discourse into the anti-American fringe. Example 4 – The CCP-linked Singham Network, which funds groups like Code Pink, was exposed in recent months and still functions seamlessly. Example 5 – Influencers and podcasters traveled to Cuba, apparently coordinating with the Cuban government, and are caught doing so. Have any one of them ceased or even decreased their activities? WHAT REALLY MATTERS This is the core imbalance: autocratic states running these operations have no – literally zero – checks on their capabilities: + They face no domestic journalistic investigation. + There is no Oversight Committee demanding answers. + There is no FOIA process to produce information. + There is no consequence in rare cases of exposure. Total freedom to maneuver on the information battlefield. We think, naively, that because these platforms are owned by US companies and regulated by American bodies that they are "ours." Nothing could be further from the truth.

BREAKING: NYT reports that operatives with Democratic Alaska U.S. Senate candidate Mary Peltola’s campaign were behind the effort to find & recruit a candidate named Dan Sullivan to run against incumbent GOP Senator Dan S. Sullivan in an effort to confuse voters and peel votes from him. Specifically, NYT says they have reviewed text messages and documents that reveal in summer 2025, a Peltola staffer received instructions from campaign staffers to find as many people named Dan Sullivan in Alaska as possible. The staffer complied, going through voter records, and compiled a list. The operation “involved secret trips to far-flung Alaskan communities and the appearance of a mysterious Midwestern operative, who traversed the state using a fake name and made his pitch to would-be candidates over beers at brew pubs.” Per NYT: “The plan worked. This spring, a retired teacher from a tiny fishing village along the Alaska Panhandle, reachable only by air and sea, announced his candidacy for Senate. His name was Dan J. Sullivan.” nytimes.com/2026/10/28/us/po…

This is WILD. I legit thought it was a skit/high school video project. It is 100% real. This is Jaime West (Democratic Party) - she’s running for election for Fayette County Council, District 4 in Indiana. I had to make sure she did not have a neurological disorder that could account for the slurred speech and insane rambling. She doesn’t. And even if she did have a diagnosed neurological disorder, “we have guns too!” after talking about firing all Republicans would ordinarily be disqualifying. “One of the penalties of refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors.” -Plato

In @MaryanneDemasi new piece about the recently approved @moderna_tx flu vaccine: Pivotal trial had statistically significantly safety signal of 60 excess serious adverse events in the Moderna arm compared to only 4 fewer flu hospitalizations! Excess number of deaths in the Moderna arm was observed in all trials with new formulation. One death was admitted to be caused by the vaccine! Moderna used highly flawed methodology to hide the signal by adding data from small trials with a different vaccine and the FDA collaborated! What do you make out of this?
🚨URGENT🚨 FDA’s botched review of Moderna’s flu mRNA vaccine An investigation into clinical trial documents reveals how the FDA used statistical sleight of hand to make an imbalance in serious adverse events disappear. In 1783, King George III asked an American painter what George Washington would do now that he had virtually won the war. The painter replied that the General intended to return to his farm in Virginia. The King was stunned. He reportedly said, "If he does that, he will be the greatest man in the world." Throughout history, victorious generals almost always seized the throne. From Caesar to Cromwell, military success usually meant political dictatorship. The concept of voluntarily walking away from absolute power was practically unheard of. But George Washington wasn't like other men. By December 4, 1783, the British surrender at Yorktown was past, and peace was finally assured. Washington commanded a powerful, seasoned army that adored him. Conversely, many of his officers were unpaid and angry at the inefficient Congress. They had the guns, the manpower, and the loyalty to install a new monarch. He could have been King George I of America. Instead, on this day in history, Washington walked into the Long Room at Fraunces Tavern in lower Manhattan. The room was filled with his most loyal officers—men like Henry Knox and Baron von Steuben—who had frozen with him at Valley Forge and bled with him for eight long years. The atmosphere wasn't celebratory. It was heavy with inevitable separation. Washington, usually stoic and commercially reserved, poured a glass of wine and looked at his brothers-in-arms with visible emotion. "With a heart full of love and gratitude, I now take leave of you," he said, his voice shaking. "I most devoutly wish that your latter days may be as prosperous and happy as your former ones have been glorious and honorable." He didn't order them. He didn't demand their allegiance. He hugged them. One by one, the hardened soldiers wept openly. Washington embraced each man in silence. There was no pomp, no ceremony, and no speeches about future conquests. It was just a quiet goodbye between warriors who had done the impossible. Immediately after leaving the tavern, Washington didn't march on Congress to demand payment or power. He rode to Annapolis, Maryland, resigned his commission, and went home to Mount Vernon to plant crops. He did the impossible. He refused the crown. He trusted the people. By stepping down, he ensured that the United States would be a republic ruled by laws, not a kingdom ruled by force. He proved that the military serves the people, not the other way around. It was the final, and perhaps greatest, victory of the Revolution. The world watched in awe as the American Cincinnatus returned his sword to its sheath, proving that character is the strongest constitution of all." #archaeohistories

Most people still don’t get what Russiagate actually was, so here it is in one sentence: The Trump–Russia narrative was a Clinton-manufactured smear that Obama officials and intelligence agencies turned into an operation to sabotage and ultimately unseat a duly elected president.

🧵 New evidence has emerged of the most egregious weaponization and politicization of intelligence in American history. Per President @realDonaldTrump's directive, I have declassified a @HouseIntel oversight majority staff report that exposes how the Obama Administration manufactured the January 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment that they knew was false, promoting the LIE that Vladimir Putin and the Russian government helped President Trump win the 2016 election. In doing so, they conspired to subvert the will of the American people, working with their partners in the media to promote the lie, in order to undermine the legitimacy of President Trump, essentially enacting a years-long coup against him. Here are the top Obama Russia Hoax lies debunked by today's release: 🔗 dni.gov/files/ODNI/documents…

The @NYTimes and other Pharma-funded MSM outlets contacted my office this morning, feigning indignation that @RWMaloneMD has a conflict that they suggest might impair his scientific judgment as a member of the new ACIP panel. The NY Times’ sudden squeamishness about conflicts of interest on the ACIP panel begs the question: Where has the Times been for the last 20 years during which individual panelists regularly voted to recommend new vaccines owned by companies with which they personally had obscene financial conflicts? The New York Times reporter objected to the fact that, in 2017, Malone drafted an expert report for a federal case on behalf of a whistleblower, Merck’s laboratory director Stephen Krahling, who accused the company of forcing him to falsify lab reports to inflate the efficacy of the mumps component of its MMR jab. The Times claims that its “experts believe” that Malone’s involvement in these legal proceedings should make him ineligible to vote on future ACIP recommendations. In fact, HHS will, for the first time in history, institute bias policies recommending that ACIP panelists recuse themselves from decisions in which their current or former clients have a financial interest. Vaccine mandates give these panelists the awesome power to guarantee billion-dollar annual profits to their Pharma benefactors from trapped markets of 74 million American children now compelled to purchase a zero-liability product with no legitimate safety testing. Despite years of complaints about conflicts and corruption at ACIP—from congress, the HHS inspector General, and others—the mainstream media has largely remained silent. The single exception to this omerta has been United Press International (UPI) reporter Mark Benjamin who summarized the committee’s pervasive putrescence in 2003. Benjamin wrote that ACIP panelists often share vaccine patents, own stock in vaccine companies, “receive payment for research or to monitor vaccine trials, and receive vaccine-maker funding for their academic departments.” A 2000 Congressional investigation offered one example of those conflicts: “Four out of eight CDC advisory committee members who voted to approve guidelines for the rotavirus vaccine in June 1998 had financial ties to pharmaceutical companies that were developing different versions of the vaccine.” Despite all the critiques, my predecessors at HHS did virtually nothing to purge the corruption at ACIP. We now have a slate of scientists, physicians, and public health experts of impeccable integrity who will vote to promote public health rather than the private profit interests of the New York Times’ advertisers.

I have come to the perhaps obvious conclusion that accelerating GDP growth is essential. @DOGE has and will do great work to postpone the day of bankruptcy of America, but the profligacy of government means that only radical improvements in productivity can save our country.

NEW: Biden Administration Labeled Opponents Of Covid Mandates As “Domestic Violent Extremists,” Newly Released Documents Show The designation infringed on the First Amendment and opened the door to investigating Americans for vaccine mandate skepticism. The Biden Administration labeled Americans who opposed the COVID-19 vaccination and mask mandates as “Domestic Violent Extremists,” or DVEs, according to newly declassified intelligence records obtained by Public @shellenberger @galexybrane and Catherine Herridge Reports. The designation created an “articulable purpose” for FBI or other government agents to open an “assessment” of individuals, which is often the first step toward a formal investigation, said a former FBI agent.   The report, which the Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, has declassified, claims that “anti government or anti authority violent extremists,” specifically militias, “characterize COVID-19 vaccination and mask mandates as evidence of government overreach.” A sweeping range of COVID narratives, the report states, “have resonated” with DVEs “motivated by QAnon.”  The FBI, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) coauthored the December 13, 2021 intelligence product whose title reads, “DVEs and Foreign Analogues May React Violently to COVID-19 Mitigation Mandates.” The report cites criticism of mandates as “prominent narratives” related to violent extremism. These narratives “include the belief that COVID-19 vaccines are unsafe, especially for children, are part of a government or global conspiracy to deprive individuals of their civil liberties and livelihoods, or are designed to start a new social or political order. “It’s a way they could go to social media companies and say, ‘You don’t want to propagate domestic terrorism so you should take down this content,’” said former FBI agent Steve Friend.  Premium content and analysis on the declassified records for subscribers @C__Herridge
