Missing my friend Julian Sands today. I took this picture of him when we worked together 9 years ago in Italy on the Netflix series Medici. I was also fortunate to work with him on 24. As an actor, Julian had that rare quality you simply can’t manufacture. He was intelligent, elegant, fearless and completely original. There are some people who leave a space behind them that can never really be filled. Julian was one of those people.

Sadly we've lost another 24 Family member yesterday, Rodney Charters. He'll be missed by family and friends and anyone and everyone who were lucky enough to spend time with him, watching him work, tell a story or explain why the last Mac upgrade will change your life. Condolences to his family. Rest in Peace Sir, you left your mark.

Dolly Parton's Only Sci-Fi Acting Credit Was A Surprisingly Complicated TV Role - TVLine - goo.gl/alerts/JtxLfq #GoogleAlerts

Check out Terra Nova on Prime.
By sci-fi legends Jon Cassar and Brannon Braga of Star Trek and The Orville among many others.
A lot of talented people worked on this show, from set design to graphics it's really a fun watch.

The news of Dolly Parton’s passing is devastating. I had the extraordinary experience of working with her on The Orville, and it was a joy to discover that she really was exactly the person we all hoped she was. Her kindness, generosity, and authenticity were evident from moment one, and the benign yet assured command she maintained over her empire was obvious from the genuine love and trust you could see from everyone who worked for her. The world is a dimmer place today without her.
Here's the last part of the scene on the Orville. If you want to see the whole episode it's on Hulu season 3 (New Horizons) eps 8 Midnight Blue.
