logomark giving me deja vu
After selling Cal AI, I was committed to pursuing hobby’s and really anything outside of business for a while. That lasted 3 weeks before I was bored out of my mind. I’m not wired that way.

Introducing Code Review, a new feature for Claude Code. When a PR opens, Claude dispatches a team of agents to hunt for bugs.

Looks like they pivoted too
Looks like @cluely is almost fully out of money. they have removed all affiliates other than @im_roy_lee and @neelyweely23. Those badges cost $50 a month. I think they're spending too much on engineers since most of them have the original $400k pay package. They now pay 40% less

Webflow really blows. They nickel and dime you for everything. And these days with Claude it’s honestly faster to just paste designs and have it generate the code. I can see why Webflow was popular for designers maintaining sites. But with AI a GUI like this just slows me down. We'll be migrating off of them shortly.

Only a few states currently have compliance laws around AI disclosure: California, Colorado, and Utah. Denying it when directly asked is a gray area, but I think it's a no-no. Pretty shady if you ask me. This is all still new so I expect more regulations to come
> return flight to nyc gets canceled by snowstorm > call united > immediately connected with customer service (rare) > voice is uncanny, def AI but they gave it a human-like accent > takes ~20 min to get rebooked (pretty good imo) > I ask if it's AI > "haha no ma'am but I get that a lot" > I ask it to calculate 228*6647 > it runs the calculation > ggs

Google Nano Banana continues to impress. We've got a conference coming up and we needed to submit a rendering of what our booth will look like. Last year, I would have contracted a designer to do this for us. I was literally able to one-shot this with Google Nano Banana in 2 minutes. Proof below. I told it to put the plant in a corner, but I actually like what it outputted more. Also, the booth picture attached was a previous Google nano banana rendering I had it make 😂

Absolute cinema. The leaker knew this was the only chance to get it back and I think he’s right
Oh, Reddit. You've done it again. The ad is beautiful btw, they should've run this one.

Yup. As soon as Claude made an extension I jumped. Just so much easier to scan conversations with markdown
Calling it now: all these agent coding TUIs are a phase and it will be short lived. Most devs will be back in GUIs and IDEs in a few months.

Yup. Quite blatant actually

The amount of crap I get for putting out a hobby project for free is quite something. People treat this like a multi-million dollar business. Security researchers demanding a bounty. Heck, I can barely buy a Mac Mini from the Sponsors. It's supposed to inspire people. And I'm glad it does. And yes, most non-techies should not install this. It's not finished, I know about the sharp edges. Heck, it's not even 3 months old. And despite rumors otherwise, I sometimes sleep.

This movie is becoming closer to reality every single day
In SF and my husband and I observe this bizarre thinking every day. The grocery store clerk has multiple kids. Our contractor? A gaggle of kids. Daycare owner: 4 kids. Every $1M+ TC DINK couple—can’t afford more than one or two.
