PRO TIP: Everyone who's ever had a meeting to discuss story notes in person needs to practice looking at themselves in the mirror and saying "Huh, that's interesting. I hadn't thought about that. Let's give it a try" with a straight face. It's easy if you can completely dissociate from your body. If you find that challenging you can try snapping a binder clip on your finger over and over until you can do it without showing any outward signs you're in pain. That's how William Goldman did it (probably)
