I've just read "Slave Ship" by @FrederikPohl, published in 1957 in which he explores the drive to gain an understanding of animal language. Maybe #AI can eventually attain the communication skills of @DrDoolittle so that we can speak to our fellow inhabitants of #PlanetEarth.

Great News! Just watched #BBCNews to hear that, although most prices will go up dramatically after #Brexit, the government will reduce #taxes on #dishwashers. At last! It’s all been worth it!
#bbcyourquestions the government fails to compare the COVID trends with the normal winter flu onset.
We need to judge the Covid figures in the context of our normal rates of death from influenza.
It could be that we should let people under 60 crack on with life as normal.
