Australia has 120,000+ people experiencing homelessness. At the same time, the government can commit hundreds of millions to rugby league in PNG and still send aid to countries like Pakistan. I’m not saying we should never help overseas. But surely our first responsibility is making sure Australians who fall on hard times have a roof over their head.

China has already won. But the world hasn't realized it yet.

Clean diagnostic. Most founders keep pouring into Meta when they’re already at “profit, no repeat buyers.” That’s pure retention, welcome, post-purchase, winback. Fix that layer before you buy more traffic.

1.43% → 4.1% conversion. Same few leaks on almost every Shopify store under 2%. We turned the audit into a free 22-point scan. ~30 seconds. ecommerceboost.io/shopify-co…

Most Shopify stores don't have a traffic problem. They have a leak problem. Before more ad spend, check: - Mobile PDP loads under 3s - Shipping cost shown before checkout - Reviews above the fold - One clear add-to-cart Fix the leaks. Then scale.

The mini brand book point is underrated. Most brands hand over a logo PDF and then wonder why every email sounds like a different company. We add a "words we never use" list to ours and it kills most of the back-and-forth on copy.

The highest-ROI flow on most DTC stores isn't abandoned cart. It's the welcome series — if you send more than a discount and a bestsellers dump. Teach, then sell. Discount-only welcomes train one-time buyers.

Your abandoned cart flow isn't broken. Your timing is. Most brands run 1h / 24h / 72h because it's the default. Test against when YOUR buyers open email. We've seen 4h / day-2 / day-5 beat the template more than once. Defaults get you live. Data gets you paid.

Nothing is more funnier on X than when someone ask Grok a question publicly and Grok says that Grok isn't available for you

Bro, we are in down market, @chamath wearing a basic hoodie? I’m sure it still cost $1000+ 😅

I've been in DTC for 7years and no ESP is executing like Omnisend. I don't just say this because we are an Omnisend Pro Partner. We have over 40 tech partners, including Omnisend main competitor Klaviyo. I simply haven't seen a team executing this well and not take over the market. 2-3years from now Omnisend is bigger than Klaviyo, I wouldn't be surprised.

Wtf, you know the lawmakers in Australia are kicking themselves for not thinking about this first. There’s only this and breathing fresh air that they haven’t started to tax and you know it’s coming
BREAKING: France just voted to tax the internet. French lawmakers approved a tax of €0.055 (5.5 cents) for every gigabyte of data that companies like Netflix and YouTube send to French users. It’s a tax on the companies, not users directly, but the cost could get passed on to subscribers. The vote was 11 to 10, with only 35 of 577 lawmakers present. Supporters say it could raise up to €10 billion a year. The French government opposed it, warning it would hit smaller French companies hardest; VLC says it would cost it over €1 million a year.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This amendment to France's 2027 budget bill was narrowly adopted 11-10 in the National Assembly (35 voters present) but is not yet law, faces government opposition, and must still clear further Assembly/Senate steps. assemblee-nationale.fr/dyn/17/comptes… assemblee-nationale.fr/dyn/17/amendem… capital.fr/economie-polit… stephanelarue.com/taxe-au-gigaoc…

That’s reason why I didn’t want to invest in $IREN , feels like fast .co for me where they spent money in the wrong place and end up blowing up Iren is simply wasting money on stupid marketing that isn’t going to improve revenue. I’ve been in marketing for 16years, I’ve seen this movie a few times
Only $IREN can save this market now. Time to sponsor another sports team!

Its never gonna happen but at $2t, why doesn’t $GOOG buy Anthropic Everyone happy, Google get their dominance back, Anthropic investors get the exit liquidity they want
