Agentic thought for the day. Who enjoys the chaos of agentic commerce today? Merchants (without a doubt), as they get a lift from agent-led sales, keep control of checkout and pay nothing for the service.

Google has thoughtfully constructed a model with AP2, UCP and DPCs that would enable economics and fix the issue; the problem is that their model only really fixes it for them as the center of all orchestration. Amazon has a walled garden; Google has a strong, tech-led vision; and both compete in an environment where other AI agents operate for free, with no complexity.

Fantastic acquisition that highlights the role that PayPal will play in these agentic and ecommerce transactions.
Seamless administration of inventory across channels is a must have service for merchants that sits adjacent to the checkout+payments.
Very excited to see this news become public as we push towards owning a critical piece of the financial services ecosystem. From supporting small businesses more directly to settling acquired funds for our merchants, this is an important step forward.

Lots of similar issues. Wyze integration just stopped working and no fix for weeks.
I don't know if any ecosystem has become a greater disappointment than @AmazonAlexa. Apps randomly break (most recently @SIRIUSXM), commands are misheard or no longer function, few updates to improve it. It's like voice had its moment at Amazon and is now dead.
