Abortion pills are safe, effective, and still accessible across the United States. Find out where to get them, what it may cost, and who can help at ineedana.com
BREAKING: The 5th Circuit rules to sharply restrict abortion pill access nationwide -- but it won't take effect until the Supreme Court weighs in, likely next year. The current patchwork of access will continue for now. storage.courtlistener.com/re…

This from my friend @DorothyERoberts on how RICO charges have been leveraged against Black women, including by Guiliani in NY. The 1980s & 90s were replete w/ cases of Black moms & girlfriends losing their freedom and children for far less than the Georgia RICO charges. 👇🏿
Replying to @DorothyERoberts
Guiliani threatened to jail me for refusing to testify before the grand jury against my husband (we had a toddler & 3-mo-old baby). I wasn’t jailed because I had a prominent pro bono attorney but several other defendants’ family members & activists (grand jury resisters) were. >>

It may seem contradictory that a state known for coercively sterilizing Black women & girls (“Mississippi appendectomy”) to prevent them from giving birth would force a 13-year-old Black girl who was raped to birth the baby. Both are reproductive slavery. time.com/6303701/a-rape-in-m…

Did you know that 38 states have feticide laws that were originally designed to protect pregnant people from violence, but have often been co-opted by anti-abortion advocates to criminalize them? @PregnancyJust is fighting back! jezebel.com/meet-the-woman-h…

This is utterly disgraceful. And if you think this censorship contagion will be isolated to Florida, you have not been paying close enough attention. We must stand united against the actions of The New College's radical board and stand for academic freedom—there and everywhere.
“The New College board’s abolition of gender studies is…an exact copy of what Hungary did in 2018, in a ban that irreparably damaged intellectual freedom in Hungarian universities & led directly to even more extreme restrictions on campus free expression” pen.org/press-release/ending…

🎉 BREAKING: Ohioans defeat Issue 1! Buckeye voters today sent a powerful message by rejecting a brazen effort by extremists in the state legislature to undermine citizen-initiated amendments.

Rosie Jimenez would have turned 73 today. The conditions that Rosie faced in 1970's Texas are much like what we see today. Rosie deserved access to safe abortion care, as we all do. We hope her memory will serve as a reminder of what’s at stake for people seeking abortion care.

We are sharing because we are always saddened to learn that abortion seekers don't know this. Missourians have the legal right to leave the state for an abortion. We can be a potential funding source. Let folks know. The confusion by our state is intentional.

There's been much gaslighting & moderate justifying of the new Florida social studies standards, people stating the "clarifications" were designed to show Black resilience, or were just "facts." So, I thought I'd compare the African-American history standards to the Holocaust's.

Yall @FundMSabortions will be closed for funding the month of August. I'm sincerely hoping we are able to raise some money during this time because fam it's getting bad. I won't close our org but I'm honestly looking at downsizing programs. Twitters downfall has hurt us a lot.

People seem to believe that abortion funds are flush with cash after Dobbs, but that’s just NOT the case. The wave of donations & media attention is long gone. Many abortion funds are forced to close mid-month each month because they run out of money. huffpost.com/entry/abortion-…
