Reflecting on a truly remarkable win for @MainePaulLePage in a truly awful climate requires acknowledging some unsung heroes.
Most importantly: every person that volunteered. Campaigns don’t exist without people who engage just for the love of the game.

In early 2010, I emailed the LePage for gov team seeing if they needed help with tech and social media. It was a VERY crowded field, the primary was competitive and no one thought he would win.
Ended up working with the team the rest of the campaign. It's where I learned how evil the media is. I have some crazy stories.

Can confirm this story…was told this story by multiple people, including Allagash town officials when I went to @TroyJackson207 hometown this summer.
He took care of himself and his own family, yet screwed the rest of the residents of Allagash.
