There are times in the market where earnings and guidance are amazing yet the print is used as exit liquidity, on shorter term horizons, environment matters a hell of a lot more than an eps beat.
Expected numbers for $AAPL (Apple) earnings today after close:
If $USO is going to lose some ground want to see it break that 20 near 157 and hold under, may bring back a little buying for a short period but we are still very elevated, caution out there.
Trading AI agents may multiply geometrically, but that doesn’t make up for the skillset of the creator , it doesn’t account for how many will deviate from the system , override the computer and fuck up anyway.

Good listen, as I can’t stop seeing Kalshi everywhere. Definitely have my own opinions on this and am sure you do to, nonetheless informative.
Kalshi CEO Says He’s Building the Next Generation of the Financial Market
“I’m building the modern day financial market. I’m building the next generation CME, the Chicago Board of Trade. Do we believe there’s economic impact from politics, from sports, from weather? Certainly.”
"We started with grain futures. Why? 150 years ago, the American economy was primarily agriculture. Then we moved into industrializing, so we got oil futures and metal futures, the inputs and outputs of the industrial phase. Then we moved into interest rate futures, credit, S&P futures, because banks and financial services started growing. To me, Kalshi is a generalization of that."
While warning that 2027 will bring severe market headwinds—citing massive stock supply coming from AI equity waves—his firm is making a defining power move: spinning off Xantium, Paul Tudor’s quantitative trading engine, into a standalone $9 billion firm by H1 2027.--FT

If this was the “first sign” for you , you have been dead asleep for months.
🚨 Hedge funds are pulling money out of the stock market at the fastest pace ever recorded.
Morgan Stanley's prime brokerage data shows they have cut their total stock positions by more than 8% from the recent peak.
That's the biggest cut since the data began in 2016. It's bigger than the 2020 COVID crash and the 2021 GameStop squeeze.
Most of it has hit AI stocks:
• Goldman Sachs says hedge funds sold AI stocks for 5 straight days, from Oct 8 to Oct 14.
That wiped out all the AI buying they had done since the start of 2025.
• They sold the stocks they owned about 3.5x faster than they added new bets against them, so most of this is funds leaving the trade, not shorting it.
• Morgan Stanley's AI stock basket fell 18% in October, while the average US stock rose about 2%.
• Memory stocks like Samsung, SK Hynix, Micron and SanDisk lost more than $700 billion in seven trading days. SK Hynix had its worst week since 2008.
Is this the first sign the AI trade is breaking?

2026 will likely end up being the best year in history for the energy industry given strong oil prices, record refining margins, high LNG prices, growing midstream, and booming power gen/infrastructure. Domestic nat gas is the only laggard.
