Travis Hunter is cornerback one and wide receiver one on his team
Richard Sherman says Travis Hunter would just blend into the Jaguars' wide receiver room and doesn't need to play receiver like that, arguing Jacksonville already has established players to fill those WR spots.
Sherman emphasizes that Hunter is a shutdown corner born and bred to play defense, highlighting his physical play—including laying hits, tackling well, and showing great instincts.
While he notes Hunter can occasionally run a go route or a screen, Sherman believes keeping him focused on defense is the best decision to maximize his elite, all-pro talent.
Sherman: "I said he would blend in. He would he would just be another guy. He would not stand out in the way that he would stand out at corner. And guess what, people? Ball knows. I know the game. I know players."
"Right now on his team, he'd be the fourth, fifth receiver because they have guys that play receiver that have only come into the National Football League to play receiver who have done nothing else during their time, but be professionals at playing wide receiver."
"He's an incredible athlete with great ball skills, great IQ, great instincts, everything you need to be a great quarter. And and I saw him be physical. There were a few plays in there, Mitchell, where he put his shoulder into guy." 😮💨
"And if they continue to just let him play defense and let him develop, I think it's going to be the best decision they they could have made and I think he'll live up to the number two pick that they used on him."

One of the most missed opportunities for gains in the gym is adding weight to your ab workouts. The mistake people make is thinking a bunch of situps and crunches is doing a lot and it definitely does something but when you add some weight to the exercise it amplifies your effort.
