$LIBR.V news. Nobody noticed. "Laser focused" on Cisco West. Maiden prospecting quietly completed, results forthcoming. Roughly $2.9M cash from Sept financings. The Athena stake, call it $1.7 million. That leaves the market valuing Cisco West, Obamska, Flanders North, Flanders South, the SBC carried interest, Toivo, Nemiscau, Wegucci, Stimson, Penelope and the Brazilian portfolio at somewhere around $2.3 million. Forty-five kilometres of the Nottaway shear zone, contiguous to $QTWO.V's world class Cisco deposit, is inside that $2.3 million. @Mining_Hub_

The EU just got its hooks into Serbia. Vucic is right.
🇷🇸 Vučić had a warning for Serbia after conceding election defeat: “You will see in six months, no one will be happy and joyful anymore.” He says his party will not block the incoming government, but predicts the new leadership will quickly impose sanctions on Russia and begin reversing Serbia’s current foreign policy. Vučić is telling the people celebrating his defeat: enjoy it while it lasts. Writer: Oliver

Worthwhile Sunday read
Those possessed of an unusual tolerance for unpopular but common-sense reflections this Sunday are invited to read my latest instalment of The Trump Doctrine series, this time on the Iran conflict. Come dip your toe in; the waters are only mildly bracing. conradblack.substack.com/p/t…

I admit I hadn't been paying much attention to this mayoral race and was content to be one of these low information voters who didn't particularly care which candidate I voted for as long as it wasn't this hopeless incumbent. But having spent a few days getting caught up, I have been pleasantly surprised by Bradford. He is actually an excellent candidate.
I now live in Toronto and was not going to comment on the Mayoral race until the Chow campaign turned very negative in the last two weeks. That negativity turned up in my mailbox today. It leads me to share my strong public support for Brad Bradford for many reasons. 1/4

#Helium just got a major vote of confidence...🎈 The US has officially designated helium as a critical material, citing its importance to semiconductors and growing supply-chain risks. Guess @juniorminingpro and I saw something over a year ago that many are only beginning to recognize now. We've been positioned. The market is catching up. And I believe this story is just getting started. $PLSR.v and the broader helium sector remain firmly on my radar. Thanks to subscriber Biggieshmallz for sharing the article! apnews.com/article/energy-cr…

The Church of Saint Sava in Belgrade was completed only seven years ago. It is incredibly beautiful. This proves that we are still capable of creating beautiful things… as long as we pursue God in doing so.

The U.S. has designated helium as a critical material, citing its importance to semiconductor production and growing supply chain risks. The designation comes as the war with Iran strains the global helium supply. 60 Minutes reported on the shortage on Sunday, including its impact on scientific research. Joe Sachleben, technical director at an NMR lab at the University of Chicago, says there is no substitute for helium. Without enough of it, researchers could be forced to decide which machines to “sacrifice.” cbsn.ws/47DMmLf

This is what it feels like when you see a Ferrari for sale in a run down town in the middle of gobsmack nowhere for 20% of its retail value, and you have cash in your pocket to buy it off the old man sitting on the front porch who inherited it from his crack dealing son in jail.
This feels a bit like getting divorced after going bankrupt, losing your dog, being diagnosed with cancer, finding out your partner has been cheating on you for years, and then hearing that your worthless neighbour just inherited $10 million. 💀

Theft. The @Rogers legacy continues its slow motion implosion. Switch carriers. @MarthaLRogers
ROGERS IS ABOUT TO CHARGE 🇨🇦 FOR THE PRIVILEGE OF PAYING THEIR BILL. You can’t make this stuff up. Starting January 17, 2027, Rogers and Fido will introduce a 1.6% processing fee for customers paying their phone & internet bills by credit card. On a $200 monthly bill, that’s another $38.40 a year. Just for paying your bill. And here’s the kicker. Quebec customers are exempt. Why? Because Quebec’s consumer protection laws prohibit these surcharges. Apparently, consumers in the rest of Canada don’t deserve the same protection. Remember, Telus tried this in 2022. Consumer backlash eventually helped push it to reverse course. In 2022, Rogers said it had no plans to introduce a similar fee. Four years later, here we are. This is what happens when competition is weak. Instead of fighting to win customers, companies find new ways to charge the ones they already have.
