Something that has really helped my mental health as a creator is coming up with a creed. Between ADHD and PMDD, I struggle with anxiety, forgetfulness, and low self-esteem every month. Being able to read this when I’m overwhelmed has helped me when my systems/habits fail.
One of the most popular best practices for YouTube creators is to look at your analytics, see which videos are the most popular, and replicate them. On my new channel, I’ve been doing the opposite. I look at which videos have the lowest views and make sure I replicate those.
The lowest viewed videos are a representation of community > audience, the viewers that want to watch every single one of my videos, regardless of what the topic is. The highest performing videos introduce me to new viewers but the lower performing videos cultivate community.

Our anniversary stream got locked. Why can’t I appeal this @TeamYouTube? The only thing I can think of is at the very end, a bot started spamming their adult site in our comments and we pointed it out so mods could remove.

I'm seeing more TIkTok, Reels, and YouTube short experience requests than the tradional YouTube, Facebook, Instagram.
Always interesting to see changes.
