Have you submitted for this year’s 2025 NPR Tiny Desk Contest yet? Here’s mine: youtu.be/ty36mjKKtEo
Independent musicians - how do you structure your day when doing booking work from your computer? In the past I’ve always strived to send out at least 50 emails each day which insured I’d get emails back. What about you?

Volvo posted a 3 min and 46 second ad on Instagram, shot by Hoyte Van Hoytema, the cinematographer of Interstellar and Oppenheimer.
It goes against every single rule you can think about as a social lead. Length. Format. Over-produced.
Every comment under the ad said it immediately put Volvo in their consideration set. It's fucking fantastic.
Excited for next week when I present my first monthly “Listening Room” show in the back room of Clare and Don’s in Falls Church, VA. Stories, songs, and special guests. Only 15 spots left. Help me pack the room for this first performance.
While I’ve got your attention with this ridiculous photo of me during a magazine shoot, I want to tell you about a show I’m really excited about. On November 13th I’m playing a “Listening Room” show in the back room of Clare and Don’s in Falls Church, VA.
It only holds 50 people and I need your help to help me pack the place. This will be the beginning of a monthly show I’ll be presenting there which will feature a lot of special guests and I want this first one to be great.
