Another 197 billion złoty in unrealised gold gains dragged into the financing circus. The money moves through Brussels, the weapons arrive from America and South Korea, and the legal arguments ricochet between European courts. Hovering over this geopolitical racket is Schrödinger’s Russia: a supposedly collapsing petro state somehow powerful enough to threaten the entire continent. Too weak to survive. Too dangerous not to keep signing the cheques. The Polish eagle still adorns the złoty. The invoices tell a rather different story. The constitutional spectacle is merely the opening act.
