WE DID IT!
Bristol, we made history💚
Thank you so much to the people of Bristol Central who have elected me as their MP
As this city's first Green MP, I promise to be a strong, independent voice for Bristol's values, pushing the govt to be bolder on the issues that matter

Glad that the report has finally been released after I had to get a Judge’s order to do so. Sad to see it done with such bad grace when the administration stated in 2021 it should be debated in public. Please don’t believe any twisting or misrepresention of @bristolgreen policy

🎉New post, discussing the things you'll need to gain as you grow as a new engineering leader.

Self-development is a critical part of scaling an engineering organisation - if you're not learning, reflecting and changing focus as your org grows, your skills will become less relevant to leading your team.
I aim to be transparent about my progress towards these goals, both to hold myself accountable and because I think it's interesting. I really enjoy reading about other people developing their businesses in the open, so it seems reasonable to try to take the same approach.

I look forward to hearing from you!
I was going to announce an Exciting Work Thing on here today, but given the shitshow that is the Twitter layoffs it doesn't feel right.
Instead, I'd recommend people check out the #LoveWhereYouWorked hashtag and offer support to those impacted.

I want to make some comments about this statistic that Bristol has 107,084 kilometres of mapped cycleways. Yes, that is a comma, not a decimal point. This is more than two half times round the world. #Thread – at Bristol, England
Can't get over the fact that property developers can just decide they want to build less affordable housing with literally no consequences. Meanwhile people are experiencing homelessness and poverty thanks to a broken rental market. Good job everyone.
This Tweet brought to you by this Knowle redevelopment proposal with 13% affordable housing:
