2. Profunda occluded for cm’s. Explains why profunda salvage at REDO by VS unsuccessful.
3. Thrombectomy followed by thrombolysis successfully alleviated patient symptoms. Thought worth a share.
Interesting ALI vignette,VS & Endo colleagues!
occluded RE-DO fem pop ( PTFE) yrs old. RC2A. Would you pursue THIRD 🔪? Profunda occluded for years!

Been meaning to post this for a while. Shout out to the crew at Community East for helping to successfully build our VTE thrombectomy program. We recently did our 100th case and continue to grow. @InariMedical @t_intheleadcoat @williamteat @ChellydubPA @CHNw #clotwarrior

Inari’s purpose-built venous portfolio is designed for maximum thrombus extraction unimpeded by blood loss concerns of continuous aspiration systems.

This is literally a surgical embolectomy without opening the chest, saddle Pulmonary Embolism treated with @InariMedical, urgent embolectomy, No lytics, immediate hemodynamic improvement, with hospital discharge in 24 hours.

Congratulations to our wonderful research team and Cath lab staff for another first at St Johns University Hospital in Detroit. The first patient has been randomized in the PEERLESS RCT comparing mechanical thrombectomy to CDT! Building the evidence base for PE therapy. #☝️ – at Detroit, MI

26/ This is why I’ve really embraced the @InariMedical #ClotTriever. It is atraumatic to the vein and allows me to remove my worst enemy- Chronic Clot… and most importantly for the patient in a single session with low bleeding risk. #SingleSession #NoICU #NoLytics

2am shock secondary to massive PE. Had knee surgery 1 week ago. Presents 70/40 and HR 110 with SOB. McConnell sign positive, CT saddle PE. Hard to argue this shouldn’t be the standard of care for massive PE. No lytics or surgery. PAP 49/36/40 down to 30/24/27. BP 100. #PERT – at Detroit, MI

Thoughts on the new @InariMedical Flowsaver:
1. Negligible blood loss; 16 passes and returned at least 95%!
2. Easy to use; 30secs backtable training for the tech
3. Adds ~20 secs/pass returning blood and flushing
4. Are the RBCs viable or fragged + heading for the spleen? TBD

I just left the ER.
We are officially back to getting crushed by COVID-19.
Delta Variant is running rampant and it’s MUCH more transmissible than the original virus.
99% of our ICU admits did NOT receive a vaccine.
Virtually ALL of them wish they had.
