RIP #utedchat - I will miss reading all of the answers well after the chat had ended.
A4: When something is online (either a website or social media) sometimes I feel like the comments are more brutal than the article. Maybe this is why I prefer to listen to the news? #utedchat
A2: I think it depends. For some people they feel justice in sharing something that matches their agenda. #UTedChat
A1: I look for other sources to see how exaggerated the original article I read was. It drives me crazy when titles are sensationalized to get views. #UTedchat
DTL Program Admin at Spectrum Academy and UCET Member. Most of my news comes from KSL radio while I’m commuting. 🤦🏼♀️ #UTedchat
A5: I think students are pretty well versed in using devices to film and trimming video clips, especially if they are TikTokers or YouTubers. In my opinion, it is the school staff that need the training on how to do these things. #utedchat
A4: One of our amazing science teachers has a student doing a stop motion video instead of a slides presentation in her biology class. I can’t wait to see how it turns out. #utedchat
A3: Students having better tech at school. And in my current role, it is convincing teachers try something new or something they aren’t well versed in. #utedchat
Q2: There are so many benefits to students completing authentic assessments over writing papers. They are still practicing that skill by writing a script, but get to be creative and share their learning with a bigger audience. #utedchat
A1: So not the deepest thought… but You’ve Got Mail was a game changer for me. It made me realize what good music placement in a movie can do. 😁 #utedchat
