Almost skipped this film because of the title, hadn’t seen Kesari 1, so Kesari 2 sounded like a sequel. But boy oh boy - what a film! This is an independent courtroom drama of the Jallianwala Bagh case. This is how gripping, well-performed and well made our nationalistic films must be. One of the most rousing and satisfying films you'd ever see. Sankaran Nair, what a great son of the soil, and Akshay Kumar, what a phenomenal portrayal. Well done! Watch it on JioHostar with your entire family, and let the next-gen grasp how The Empire illtreated us, and how we had to push back hard to earn even basic dignity and justice. Jai Hind.
