If we don't design personalised care into our health systems, guess what? They can become impersonal and industrialised, serving the needs of 'the system' rather than patients. Here's what Scotland's CMO is saying about this in his annual report. – at London, England
The 4 great population health challenges we face. And the risk to professionalism if we allow transactional, industrialised care to win over Careful and Kind Care.
My annual report discusses this & shows that we still have agency & hope of a different way gov.scot/isbn/9781805258407

Leadership is critical in every part of the system. It is most important at the local level; practice, PCN, place and ICS. Each ICS now has a CVD Prevention lead. These leads can’t succeed in isolation. We have great examples of ICS CVD Prevention leadership teams coming together
