A year ago I read @MichaelRosenYes’s poem about the NHS on @BBCr4today. He had Covid and was fighting for his life in ICU. So 12 months later, it is wonderful to have him here on @BBCNews reading it himself. Thanks @charliemackesy for illustrating so beautifully #bbcnews10

Can I please ask you all not to use this time to get pregnant. 10% of all births come to NICU. Frankly we don’t need a surge in a few months time. It’s going to take the NHS years to get over this.
