My 9-year-old daughter came home from school crying, feeling humiliated because her teacher denied her permission to use the toilet, and she ended up wetting herself. To make matters worse, she says other learners laughed at her.
As a parent, I am heartbroken and deeply disappointed. How do you deny a child permission to use the toilet and allow them to go through such an embarrassing experience? What should I do in this situation?
