#Clayface is a film that truly deserves a #DolbyCinema release in Bangalore! With its ultra-wide 2.76:1 aspect ratio, it’s best experienced on a wide scope screen like AMB Dolby Cinema. The film’s night-time sequences and stunning Gotham cityscapes could look phenomenal with the enhanced contrast, deep blacks, and HDR highlights of a Dolby Vision DCP. Please give us at least ONE show at Dolby Cinema Bangalore! 🙏 @JyesthNarang6 @amb_cinemas @venkat_ins @DolbyIn @Dolby @DolbyCinema @WarnerBrosIndia @DenzD @ClayfaceMovieDC

I wanna talk about Nelson’s visual language I’ve never seen a modern director intentionally choose a clinically sharp digital look - no vignettes, no film grain, or promist filters. Instead, visual character is created by set design, playing with highlights and shadows, smoke and wardrobe. This is highly intentional because this started in Beast (2022) but carried over with the two Jailer films, under two different DoPs (@manojdft and @vijaykartikdop) who evolved this vision. I could guess this is inspired from Breaking Bad’s HDTV 16:9 look, but whatever it is - deserves to be seen on a 4K Laser screen or LED to do full justice.

Late David Keighley had revealed that The Prestige was the first to have an IMAX 65mm shot in it. So glad it’s finally getting a release From @RaidersLostPod

The Q Luxon Experience “LED is the future”, they said. A couple of years ago, I’d argue. A couple of months ago, I’d argue. A couple of weeks or days ago, I’d argue. But yesterday, something changed this belief inside me. I saw the future, I experienced Q Luxon at AAA Cinemas, Vizag. I travelled 650kms from Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam to experience Jailer 2 on Q Luxon and it was totally worth it! I’ve watched the movie twice before in different formats but this hit different. I’ve watched movies on LED before but this one is very special, from the moment I walked into the audi, I knew I was in for a treat. I was welcomed by a massive 71ft W x 29.6 H wall to wall pitch black Scope LED screen with super steep, all black seating. Once the screen turned on, I was in absolute awe because the FoV from the top row is as good as centre or any row really, the design of the Auditorium itself screamed brilliance. There are a few experiences in my life I would never forget, My first IMAX 70MM experience, first PCX experience, first Dolby Cinema experience and now this. Once the content started playing on the screen, 10mins into the movie looking at the colours pop beautifully, looking at the blacks absolutely deeper than ever before, the bass hitting straight at my chest, the surround speakers dancing around, the overhead speakers wooshing right above me, the Screen just pulled me right in, it’s absolutely immersive. I silently teared up. Everything about It was absolutely beautiful. Evolution of Cinema Exhibition has seen Reel based projection, Xenon Digital Projection, Laser and Dual Laser Projectors, LED Screens and cut the chase to now, Acoustically Transparent LED Screens. When cinemas introduced LED’s as a format, there was always the issue of sound because the whole setup of LED panels was just a wall. Unlike traditional cinema screens which has tiny holes to let sound pass through from hidden speakers behind the screen, solid LED walls blocked sound. This forced theatres to place speakers around the LED screen (above, below or to the sides), causing a slight disconnect when an actor is speaking on the screen and the sound would come from the ceiling or floor. Acoustically Transparent LED solves this problem completely by allowing speakers to be where they’re supposed to be- right behind the screen, apart from the surround speakers ofcourse. Q Luxon is 100% DCI HDR compliant and it shows why, the colours are just as good as as you could watch them on an OLED TV at your home but on a massive scale, the screen is perfectly calibrated and I found zero issues with it. The audio being as good as it was is just a bonus! The bass hits perfectly and the atmos tuning is absolutely on point with zero audio crosstalk. The entire auditorium is equipped with 64 ch dolby speaker setup. As the end credits rolled, I walked near the screen to observe the audio coming from Left, Center & Right channels individually while still being in disbelief. Watching Jailer 2 in both SDR, Dolby Vision and HDR made me realise just how good LED is for HDR content or just any content because the sharpness of the image is unmatched, the contrast higher than any projection system. Theater specs - Q Luxon Width : 71ft Height : 29.6ft Capacity: 490+ Design : Non reflective walls & wall to wall, near floor - ceiling @epiqcinema @aaacinemasoffl

Some days X makes you blow money on things you don’t need. Other days, it saves you. I was this close to picking up a KEF LSX II for my vinyl setup - mostly because of the way it looks. Yes, aesthetics matter. Then Lumio dropped the Aura 5: similar vibe, a fraction of the price. ₹20K vs ₹1.4L. Even if it delivers 50% of the KEF, that’s still worth it. Hope this doesn’t disappoint @kailazh

MKBHD was making videos and supporting the Tesla brand way before it was cool. Tastes and opinions change, the hate on him is too much
They really just got on stage and said this newly designed 4000+ pound car can do flips and go half the speed of sound (380+mph) and will ship in 2028. This is a prank, right?

And the new Apple TV 4K ties the whole home theatre together! It creates an incredible experience with immersive sound by working with HomeView and HomePod mini 2. The movie buff, TV binge-watcher, and gamer are going to love what the next generation of Apple TV 4K can do.

It’s easy once you figure it out. Some options: 1) Use IINA app for Playback, not VLC. Free OR 2) Use Subler on Mac to remux the MKV to MP4 in less than 10 seconds, doesn’t touch the quality. Play in QuickTime or Apple TV app. Bonus: Drag this mp4 to the Apple TV app, and it will show up on your Apple TV Box’s “My Computers” app. You can even sync it to your iPhone/iPad and play from native Apple TV app.
Hey mac users... What all media file types, formats you find it difficult or impossible to playback...

Check out @LumioIN ‘s Vision 7 for a solid, sundar, tikau option!
Can anyone recommend a good TV brand. Mostlyin 43 inch segment. Last time went for Samsung and had an extremely disappointing experience. TV started giving issues moment warranty got over and has conked off in 3 years. So yes, any suggestion? Keeping S-S-T (Sasta Sundar Tikau) in mind. Thanks.

Happy to share that @LumioIN has raised $12 million in Series A round led by @BlumeVentures , with continued support from @Stellaris_VP and @3one4Capital This funding gives us the opportunity to invest further in our products and software, explore new categories, and strengthen quality and after-sales support as we grow. We also want to give more people the chance to see and try our products before bringing them home. We’re building Lumio to bring thoughtfully designed devices and better software experiences into Indian homes. We launched our first TVs in early 2025. Today, more than 35,000 households across India have a Lumio product at home. For a young brand, being chosen by customers over legacy brands that have been around for decades is a privilege and a responsibility. Thank you to our customers for giving a young brand a place in your homes, and for sharing feedback that helps us improve. We’re grateful to our team and partners for the care and work behind every product. We’re grateful to Blume Ventures for joining us, and to Stellaris and 3one4 Capital for continuing to back us. We’re excited to bring Lumio to more Indian homes and work hard to earn the trust that comes with it.

DIGGER and its Aspect Ratios
Watched DIGGER in IMAX with Laser This movie is so much more than what the trailers showed. A whole new world unlocks when the aspect ratio goes from 1.5:1 to 1.85:1. Tom Cruise’s intimate acting chops which (we hadn’t seen in years) finally come through in the latter scenes. The meta-commentary is bold, yet bleak and left me thinking quite a bit after This is the last theatrical feature before we see “A Skydance Company” under WB logo - and I am glad to have watched it on the big screen
