Evero’s defense continues to make history in the worst way possible. Wtf are we doing seriously?

Bryce Young's EPA/pass of -0.71 was the worst for a QB in week 7 (heading into SNF/MNF).
His downfield throw (10+) rate plummeted: from 35% in Wks 1-6 to 19% vs. TB.
He also took more sacks (5)- on a pressure rate similar to the one he typically sees & a relatively low blitz rate (26%).
He also saw zone coverage on 94% of snaps.
I think the 3 are likely related.
I think the fact that the Bucs were getting home with 4, led to a situation where he didn't have as much time to wait for the downfield windows to open late (he usually holds the ball a half second longer vs. zone.)
He had to get the ball out fast (2.42s) and the chunk plays suffered, as a result.

Bryce Young has been really good this season attacking 2 high on throws of 10+ yds.
But- as of halftime- he has not done that vs. TB.

This is a tweet you print out and hand to Evero with his pink slip
Chuba would be even better if he hadn’t had 3-4 long runs called back by phantom holds this year

Don’t lose perspective.
The Panthers bounced back strongly after losing big last year.
Including their win in Green Bay…

Horrendous call… It’s unbelievable this is football in 2026 and we don’t have a camera angle to get this call correct…

"I'm not going to sit here and blame that loss on Bryce Young. The bottom line is that was a team loss."

Bryce gets tripped on a 3rd down sack. Clear as day
@NFLOfficiating fucking hates us
Everything that could’ve went wrong, did go wrong
Beat the Packers
So recapping first half:
- Opening drive rushing TD for Bucs
- Muffed punt leads to an extra RZ possession for a FG
- Sack-fumble of Young leads to a DEF score for TB
- Young throws a TD on a ball that travels 31 air yards for longest TD of Darren Waller's career ... but extra point blocked for a two-point conversion for TB
- Another Bucky Irving TD.
- Young throws a pick after Jalen Coker slips on a route.
- Bucs set up at the CAR 24 coming out of the two-minute warning.
- Wide open TD toss from Mayfield to Tez Johnson.
32-6. There's a whole nother half buckaroos.
