Before you build a startup write down… 1. The customer 2. Their problems 3. Current solutions 4. Your solution 5. Why now 6. Why you The last two are most important. Market timing and founder fit. – at San Mateo, CA

Office vs Remote is NOT the core conversation we should be having. Meetings vs async is what we should be talking about. That's the root cause for burnout.

(11/12) @kelkes has this great, and easy to implement tip for adding customer audit paths to DB interactions. A real-world tip and trick that could go on any customer table. xitter.cf/kelkes/status/14530150…
I'm adding created_by and updated_by fields to every table I create with @HasuraHQ. Setting it to the user's name with column presets from a session variable. Of course, they are not a replacement for a complete audit but helped us in customer service often. #HasuraTipsAndTricks

A lot of companies are going to learn the hard way that workers mean it when they say they'll leave if they are not given the version of hybrid work they want Forcing people back to an office a set number of days every week is not hybrid work Workers won't accept it

3️⃣ Ask if your attendance (or the meeting) is still necessary Last step is to close the email thread by asking if your attendance or the meeting is still necessary. “I think we pretty much covered everything in the discussion, do we still need a meeting for that?”
