Dorian Gray is never going to escape the curse of poor adaptations that either frantically try to remove the homoerotic subtext (badly) or are just plain unpleasant to watch and poorly made. Oscar Wilde didn't go to jail for THIS. Also I hate this title lmao.
A modern retelling of Oscar Wilde’s ‘THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY’ is in the works at Netflix (Source: deadline.com/2024/08/dorian-…)

The toxic relationship between yourself and the universities and colleges that take over a month to get back to you while your application is still "under review" or "in process"
My thesis manuscript has been turned in for review.
One of my students sent me a picture of the snow village her family sets up every year for the holidays, which she talked about in one of her journal entries very early in the semester, completely unprompted.
