Today is my book’s birthday! It’s now available everywhere books are sold! 🥳 amzn.to/36bDX1G

Finally back home. We stopped at Pizzeria Ruby on our way back home.

I kept all my gorgeous flowers. The rest went into the trash. 😢

Gold medal, baby.

Finished my cake. The critique was helpful. There’s definitely some things that I need to do differently for competition cakes. But overall they seemed to like it. I’ll find out my score this afternoon.

Can you guess where I am?

Competition cake is stacked. Done for the night. Will finish in the morning.

This week I taught my 3 classes plus a community Ed class last night. Made and delivered an elopement cake, made a 4 tier competition cake (had to redo parts) and now I’m awake early (again!) to drive a mini van to Kansas City. Also world crumbling, blah, blah, blah.

This week on social media can be summed up with “hey, come get your boy.”

Every day this week I’ve woken up at 5. Thought I’d mix things up today and wake up at 4. 😟

I almost choked during dinner, I was watching a video and this guy said Jesus was an anchor baby.

My neighbor put up a sign. I love it so much.

Working on flowers for my competition cake. Such a (fun but) time consuming process.

I miss doing dinners like this. Would be fun, since I actually know more about what I’m doing with a plated dessert now.

Dinner on the couch watching Lincoln Lawyer. Cheers to the weekend.

In retrospect, eating puff pastry in bed was not the wisest decision.

This. Fucking. Burger.

Fin. 😉
