“Journey, please come home if you are able to. You are not in trouble, and I just want you to be safe.”
It's been three weeks since 15-year-old Journey Mitchell disappeared from her home in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Oct. 16.
Her grandfather, Charles, says Journey has never gone missing before, and he hasn't heard from her since. He's deeply concerned for her safety and hopes someone can help bring her home.

3-year-old Nevada Pierre can hold his own on the soccer pitch — just ask our @adrianadiaz, who went head-to-head with the toddler.
Adriana visited Nevada and his parents, after organizers of a youth soccer game in which Nevada played called 911 and told police that the toddler’s parents were being disruptive and that the young athlete was “pushing the kids and scoring.”
Police body camera video from that incident went viral. And now, Nevada’s mom, Martasia Griffin, says, the young phenom is fielding new opportunities, including one on one training with former U.S. Men's National Team striker Eddie Johnson at his EJE7 academy.

I’m honored to be speaking at University of Colorado Boulder on November 12 as part of a daylong symposium on Cowboy Carter. There’s a lot I could say about this album, but @Beyonce gave me my marching orders: “Look at that horse.”
My talk, “Look at That Horse”: Beyoncé, Black Freedom, and Equestrianism, follows her on horseback from the shimmering steed of Renaissance to the flag-bearing rider on the cover of Cowboy Carter. I’ll put that cover in conversation with Eastman Johnson’s A Ride for Liberty and ask what these very different images of Black riders can tell us about freedom. colorado.edu/cuartmuseum/cow…
