twitter has been getting boring recently, it's all just the same copypasta jokes which gets so boring. it'd be better if we all tweeted about like... a gorilla? he could be super smart and from the moon, with a short range toggle Tesla cannon and a dome shield to counter aoe slop

real talk, testaments current state does make me sad. crow being minus feels so uncomfortable and awkward to use, their combos feel like you're fighting against your own moves to make it work, and their pressure is basically just neutral but you're in the corner

like even this, which was a buff, clearly isn't well thought out and is just to plaster over the glaring flaws they've introduced. my launch too high my steak too juicy but also my combo too scaled and my character too dogshit

it's sad to see a character who used to be so cool be reduced to this, but I think for headstomper I'm going to try and make them work. I miss them a lot though

Elon Musk flips a vehicle upside down and everyone claps and cheers. But when Tiger Woods does it, suddenly everyone wants to take away his driver’s license and prescription painkillers

I think this is why absolute is doing so well. theyre characters you know, with an interesting twist, and its a fresh start where you pick a hero and start at issue one. as much as I love shared universe stories, comics could benefit from single, longer runs like absolute
Jaehaerys Brunestud@Jaehaerys48Oct 14
People are throwing out lots of reasons for manga's dominance, most of them are probably true to some degree. The biggest one for me is that you don't have to read Naruto to start Demon Slayer. One Piece and Akane-banashi aren't the same universe. Etc.

absolute is building to a crossover, and as much as *I'm* excited for that, I can see that being where casual interest drops off and people don't pick up the runs anymore. people like simplicity, and absolute did that well while delivering incredible stories

One of the biggest hurdles for me making content on youtube is the fact that I HATE making thumbnails. I thought a good way to practice is to make bullshit shitpost thumbnails to learn.
